Leather hole puncher
Just as described and works well. Good quality for the money considering a local Amish shop wanted $45 for the same thing.

Good punch for leather horse halters.
Wanted a simple leather hole punch to adjust horse halters and other equipment with. It worked well for what I've used it for already (single ply leather halters) and have no doubt it'll work for my other leather goods. I didn't want to spend a mint on a punch and this fit the bill.

Easy to work, no instructions needed or force needed, create different sized holes in your belt, will save you money on belts if you lose weight.

I'm Impressed!
I was almost discouraged by some of the reviews on Amazon, but I ordered this anyway. It's affordable, easy to handle, and gave me the perfect size hole I needed on my Valentino Garavani Reversable belt. No mistakes! I only took one star off because it had residue on one of the spikes when it arrived - made me feel like it had been previously used.

-Update- The seller reached out to me and offered a full refund, even though the product is mostly functional. It's nice to see this kind of customer care, so I'm bumping up my overall rating. -Original review- I bought the grommet installation kit. It includes a hand tool that automatically punches a hole in the material as it crimps the grommet. This might work for leather, tarps and other heavy materials. But for light materials and thin fabric, it does not work. The tool will apply the grommet, but won't puncture your fabric. This means the surrounding fabric will be pulled up into the grommet and you'll get a lot of puckering around it. See photo. You can solve this problem by cutting a hole in the fabric first, then use the tool to crimp the grommet into that hole. It doesn't even have to be a round hole. Just cut an "X" where you want the grommet. Overall, I'm disappointed. The tool is supposed to punch a hole in the fabric. But the one I received does not. I'll give it 3 out of 5 stars since I can still use the crimping part of it.
