Good quality
This is a great carafe not only for coffee, but for tea as well. Its design fits perfectly with hario switch or the V60. It’s a good size and has good thickness. Does not feel like thin glass.

excellent microwaveable 1 liter coffee server
I selected this particular glass coffee server (Hario V60 Glass Coffee Server, 1000ml, Black) because it was advertised as being one liter, it had no metal parts, it was advertised as being microwave-able and it was short enough (6.85"W x 5.55"H) to fit inside my small microwave oven. Although most - if not all - such coffee servers are made of borosilicate-type glass (like pyrex-branded glass) most suggest not putting the coffee server inside a microwave oven; So this one was special in that regard. I have been using it for a few days now and it is perfect for my use case (simply boiling water.) The only downside so far is that this coffee server was made in Japan and the instructions are totally in Japanese (a combination of hiragana, katakana and kanji.) And the several illustrations of “don’t do this” are scaring me because i do not know what the six drawings with the big X’s on them are meant to prohibit. (There is a QR code on the front of the instructions and it does lead to English words but nothing there is useful. Those English words deal with things like “Where should i put the tea leaves?” and nothing that would relate to the giant X’s on the diagrams.) But - bottom line - it holds a full liter of water, it pours drip-free and it works perfectly for my purposes. i’m just fearful of the unknown giant X’s

The GOAT
Cheap, high quality, perfect size, and works perfectly. Relatively easy to clean (kinda hard to get my hand in there when I’m cleaning it). I have broken two in the two years I’ve been caring about coffee.

Very large and durable.
A large brewer for when you make a lot of pourover. I find that I rarely make enough in one go to justify such a large carafe but it's very sturdy and easy to clean so I'll keep using it as long as it lasts. Been great for the few brunch parties where I made a large batch of cold brew.

Nice simple jug for pourover.
This is a nice simple glass jug that I use at work to make pourover coffee. Works fine, microwave safe, unremarkable and yet functional.

Good purchase. 2nd time we buy.
Functional. Lightweight. Easy to wash. Just don't drop it because it will break.

The real deal.
Strong glass, very easy to clean, and retains heat for a good while compared to other cheaper alternatives.

Quality kettle
I use this the opposite way to how it's intended. It's marketed as a vessel for making pourover coffee into. I usually make pourover directly into the cup, and if not, I do it into an insulated thermal container. I wouldn't use this pitcher as the receptacle because it's not insulated and does not seal. I fill this pitcher with filtered water and boil it in the microwave and then use it to pour into the pourover or French Press. It's perfect for that because it's made with borsilicate glass that can withstand the heat without cracking and it has volume markings, so you can see how high you need to fill it.

We use pots of this style for making tea because they are made of glass. We had one prior to this one made by some other company, unknown, and it wasn’t as well made as this one. I don’t know what the reviews that say it is not Japanese quality, because I think it is! And yes, it is made of glass! If you are very clumsy and thwack it hard on something it will break! But we just love glass for making tea, so we love this pot and it seems quite sturdy for a glass pot and the plastic lid is designed well and the handle feels good and steady to pick it up. It was worth the price to us.

Use it everyday, just the right size for two mugs of coffee. Pours well, no spillage, no waste and filters go in compost. Makes great coffee and no mega plastic and electrics to go in landfill from an expensive electric coffee maker. No faffing cleaning cafetière plungers. Haven’t destroyed it in the dishwasher. Just wish the filters were cheaper.

It’s ok.

Very pleased with my purchase. Can be used for Coffee and tea. Drink will stay hot for long period. The pot can be put on heat, which is not necessary as the drink stays hot for long time.
