Pettit Paint Splash Zone A-788, Quart Kit

I saw this stuff used on Deadliest Catch to seal up a leak in an emergency. I talked with one of my Captains and he says as a 40 year boat owner that he won't go out without it on his boat. Within a month of getting it, I was able to use it fix a leak in my raw water filter. Work great and is holding tight until I can get a permanent fix in place. Only used less than a golf ball size, but going to buy some more just in case a bigger repair is needed.

Every commercial fishing boat in Alaska has this on board. Indispensable for emergency repairs.

Had a leak in the bilge and used this to patch until I could haul the boat. Held fine and probably could have gotten by with not patching the boat. Must use rubber gloves that are saturated wet to knead together or this stuff will stick to the gloves. Don’t worry about it getting wet as you wil push the water out as you put it in place

very thick, tricky to get a smooth spread, but it hardens like steal and sandable and extremely strong, worked perfect to repair the plastic gunnel boxes on my boat

Excellent product to fill gaps. Direction indicate to mix both parts of epoxy by kneading like dough. A lot of product is lost this way as it sticks to the gloves. I prefer to mix in a small container and apply with a putty knife.

I have used this for some time now, it always amazes me how well it works. Keep your hands/gloves wet the whole time you're mixing it! It's very expensive so don't waste it.

Will patch hole under and above water line. Use gloves and mix equal parts and keep hands wet. Saved my boat from sinking. Hardens above or below water line. Magic in a can.
