Great product!
I am private chef, good appliances are.ceitical.for me. This is a Great product. Lightweight and powerful, easy to use and clean. I tried the Cuisinart but it weighed so much, like 15 lbs! My FP lives on a bottom shelf and this is easy to lift. A tad noisy but does a great job and the price is perfect

Works great
I love this thing. I use it multiple times per week super easy to use and clean. I did a lot of research before landing on this one. Because of my health, I have to make everything from scratch, and because of a hand injury, I needed the pieces to be light. I use my elbows to lock the lid in place. Basically, it makes chopping and slicing and shredding possible for me without hurting me further. I’m gentle with the pieces and make sure none of the plastic breaks off because I know it’s part of the safety feature to run properly. Other than that, this thing is a beast and works great. The sound is a little loud, but I have earplugs I use.

Process THIS great product!
I cannot find any cons to this food processor. It slams right through the hazelnuts I roast myself and use in making homemade keto sugar-free "nutella" chocolate hazelnut spread. It is easy to put together. The buttons are self explanatory. The machine is designed for safety and efficiency. It will not work if you forget to install one of the safety components. But after you figure out what you left off, and put it in its place, you will be happy with this food processor. I have not yet tried the shredding blade but the S blade certainly works well. The motor is able to power through the hardest nuts I was able to find; made a pumpkin pie filling in seconds; pie crust is a BREEZE! Just be sure the container is dry when you add your flour to it. I have no issues with the noise of the motor. It IS a motor! Would you sacrifice efficiency for a quiet chainsaw? I think not. And I'm not saying it sounds like a chainsaw. Just think about who's trying to take a nap before you turn this baby on. It's a workhorse, so don't tell it to be quiet.

Reliable, Reasonably Priced. Food Processor
I am ordering this exact item a second time. After several years of great service to my kitchen and my family, my old food processor finally gave up the ghost. It was a great food processor and the folks at Hamilton Beach are so helpful that it was easy to make the decision to replace it with EXACTLY the same model that I had in the past. Great value for the money and nice storage capacity.. I was happy to be able to purchase this again.

Happy as a dog with a new bone!
I know this food processor has gotten some bad reviews, but I tend to look at the combined total of 4 (15%) + 5 (64%) star rating and that give it 79%. I consider that to be quite good for a rating on Amazon. Then, I looked at the fact the ratings don't seem to be about anything other than the product it should be about. Lately, reviews for different products seem to be showing up where they don't belong, which distorts a product's true ratings. With the reviews just on Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Stack and Snap Food Processor (70725A) and an overall 79% 4 + 5 star rating, I then compared it to other food processors and their reviews. After what seemed like an interminable amount of analysis and sorting through reviews, I selected the Hamilton Beach 12 Cup Food Processor (70725A). I had been using my tiny Cuisanart to do at best 3/4 to 1 cup at a time to puree cooked rice with beef bone broth every 3 or 4 days for the dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis for those who want to know. This was really frustrating me since I have to have 1 cup of the mixture per day for the dogs to add to their food. So, enter my having to be out of town for almost 2 weeks and I set out to mix up 2 weeks worth of cooked rice and beef bone broth to leave for my husband to feed the dogs while I would be away. plus an extra day so I would not immediately need to mix up more upon my return. That process with my "miniature" Cuisanart sent my frustration level went through the roof. I was determined to not have to go through that again, thus ordered this Hamilton Beach food processor! Imagine my delight when I as soon as I returned home I realized I apparently had not made up enough for day of "travel recovery" before making more doggie rice/broth mixture. I'm still not convinced my husband did not use more than necessary, but that's beside the point and I turned to open the Amazon box containing my Hamilton Beach food processor which had arrived while I was gone. I decided to cook up the whole bag of short grain brown rice at once and give the new food processor a try. 5 cups of rice + 10 cups of water = a lot of rice. I divided it into 3 portions figuring rice is sticky, it would probably get stuck to the side of the processor and I wasn't using a whole lot of broth to combat that. With the first portion of rice in the processor I added about 3/4 cups of beef bone broth, pressed puree, and quickly shut it off! The processor is rather load and made the doggies bark and bark and bark! I stopped the food processor, they stopped barking. I started it again, they started again. I shut the food processor off and put the dogs outside! Problem solved! Within about 5 minuetes, I finished 8 days worth at 1 cup per day of rice/broth mixture. Happy dance! Literally, I did a happy dance! By the way, dogs also digest the pureed rice better than leaving the pieces whole. Just so ya know. Upon returning home, I also had to look forward to processing 5 large and I mean large pumpkins. Also for the doggies! My adult daughter has also been sick, so I offered to process her pumpkins as well - also a lot of large pumpkins! So, the Hamilton Beach has been working almost relentlessly since October 27th. Enough so, that my hands are very dry from constant washing of them, all the equipment, and the kitchen counter, sink, and stove. So, I've processed: 3 batches of rice/broth puree good for 8 days each for the dogs. 98 quarts of pureed pumpkin (55 quarts for our dogs, the balance for my daughter's dog and family) 16 - 1/2 pint jars for adding to homemade spiced chai (my reward when I get to actually sit down) I'm ready to say the Hamilton Beach 12 Cup Food Processor rocks! I'm my opinion. I've washed it umpteen times without any of the problems or concerns I've seen others state. Maybe I'm being extra diligent because of what and where others have stated they've had food get stuck and either can't get it out or do with great difficulty. I have some small brushes in a jar by the sink for cleaning hummingbird feeders which do the trick quite nicely and easily. The enclosed part on the lid and bowl that create the easy stack and snap feature of this food processor is one area some reviewers have complained about either food or moisture getting into and not being able to get it out or having a lot of difficulty getting it out. Well, I'm not the neatest person as I'm forging through processing our doggies' rice/broth mixture or processing at least 275 pound of pumpkins. I doubt I'm over estimating on the pumpkins. 98 quart jars and 16 - 1/2 pint jars took 204 pounds of pumpkins and I hauled a lot of 5 gallon buckets half full of pumpkin skin, seeds, and guts outside! Between removing the processor lid to pour the pureed pumpkin into the double boiler to keep it hot for canning it, adding mushy, cooked pumpkin into the small hole the black "large food pusher" creates in the "food chute" for hours on end and I had pumpkin pretty much everywhere on the processor bowl, lid, and large black food pusher. I was able to keep the base quite clean despite the plops of pumpkin on the counter - yay! Despite my mess, the bowl and lid cleaned up easily. Yes, water got into the enclosed parts that create the processor's stack and snap feature, but it dried, overnight as a matter of fact. I don't quite understand others complaints that moisture gets in there and never dries. All I can say is that moisture does get in there, but it dried each and every time in mine. I found the key to cleaning the lid and bowl is to not let them sit to allow for any food dry on them. The inside of the bowl can be filled with water to soak if necessary. I was reluctant at first to submerge it in the sink because of some of the reviews, but even doing that any trapped moisture dried. I use the "hummingbird cleaning brush" on part of the "nonremovable motor shaft" in the bowl to make sure all food residue was removed. The "chopping/mixing blade" is another part other reviewers have complained about. I soak it in hot soapy water and scrub! Sponge, "hummingbird cleaning brush," dish bristle brush, rinse, repeat until I'm confident I've gotten all the food from between the plastic and blades. So, far with lots of use, cleaning, and drying I have not noticed any odors or anything of concern. The black "large food pusher" is a bit tough to clean. But, I found soaking it helped to loosen any pumpkin that was stuck inside and then reaching in with a knife and flushing it under running water I could get the pumpkin out. I'm happy as a dog with a new bone with my purchase of the Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Stack and Snap Food Processor (70725A). Our dogs also seem very happy with the rice/broth mix and pumpkins from this processor! It's Corgi approved as well by their owner!

Waste of money!
I was very excited when, after long time looking for it, I finally bought something that can help me to make my veggie salad by myself, because after big accident I severely damaged my one hand and now not able to use just regular knife to chop salad for myself any more. But now I'm not much more happier than before I bought thin so called food proccesser This is just a joke machine. This is scam, misleading advertisement. They said it is 12 cups food processor but in real life it processes only 1-2 cups of foods you put in this 12 cups "con"tainer. Because shredder blades are located only in bottom section of container, so it shreds only about 1-2 inches high layer of foods, all the rest of foods are just flying around above shredder blades almost untouched by shredder, doesn't matter how long you keep it on running. So if you keep it running longer it just keep shedding bottom layer of foods, making it almost as paste, while all top layer remains unshreded, in big chunks size. It doesn't turn and mix all entire container content during shreding proccess. Every time you load more than 2 cups of foods to process in the end you have to unload it and manually separate that shredded portion of food from the big unshredded chunks of food before you can enjoy whatever you trying to cook. And that is not easy work, not something anybody would enjoy to do, and If you can enjoy this meal at all after this all messy process and wasted time. Now my question is to manufacturer of this piece of junk - why dont you test your product in real life before you put it on market? Why do you expect your buyers/users to do this job for you? Trying to save your money by wasting ours? What about functional quality control? You widely advertise your "safety" and "capacity" features for this machine. But who cares about all those features if this machine is not able to do functions it meant and sold to be doing. It's not fair to us, buyers. It's disrespect to your brand. The way you designed your shredder blades there is no way it will turn and shred all entire container of foods in it. It's simply, poor design and functional quality test control. I never had chance to try slicer in this machine. I'll update this after I do that. But honestly, I do not expect any better results from that feature after this bad experience with shredder or chopper, whatever you call it. Anyway, what's the point to advertise it is 12 cups food proccesser if it processes only 1-2 cups at the time? This is not a 12 cups food storage container, it is 12 cups food slicer and chopper/shredder. So it should slice and chop 12 cups of food at the time, not 1- 2 cups. Come on guys . . . !? This is lie advertisemen, isn't it? I'll never buy anything of this brand any more. I did a lot before. It's just by my nature, I cannot stand sloppy job. And I do not recommend anybody to buy this specific machine. Buy from somebody else who test their product in real life and respect their buyers and their spending budget. I wished I could return this machine and get my money back so I could buy some real big food chopper not just a big container for food storage. But it's to late I cannot do that any more, since it is more than 30 days fro the day I bought it. So now I can through it away or gift it to someone who is fanatic of this brand and don't care if it actually works, and wait for my next disability check and try my lock on some other brand of food processor. Anybody out there, your advice for any real, lower-middle priced, large food processor will be greatly appreciated. I really need one in my situation. Thank you in advance.
