Tanks and Armored Vehicles, Dover Coloring Book

My son loves this book. The publisher of these books always has great illustrations with just the right amount of detail and always has good information about the illustrated item (in this case, tanks). My son is 14...

My son has recently taken an interest in tanks. He's always been a history nut so this is not surprising. In a world where technology is the go-to for so many to occupy their time, I was thrilled when I showed him this coloring book and he was intrigued. He is twelve. Since receiving this book yesterday he's been coloring up a storm. He is working to make them as accurately colored as possible and likes reading the facts too. I love this time too to work with him to share some of my artistic insights as well.

Very detailed pictures! My 7.5 year old loves this!

This would be a fun book for an older child, ages 5 to 10, or maybe a mature 4-year-old. For my toddler (who is 2 years old), the illustrations are so complex that they're over his head. Also, a lot of the illustrations are repetitive. They all just look like tanks to me (this book should just be titled "Tanks Coloring Book" not "Tanks and Armored Vehicles"). One more thing to add, because there are so many lines and because the pictures aren't terribly different from one another, I'd recommend coloring this in with crayons or colored pencils due to the increased range of colors and accuracy over say an 8-pack of colored markers.

My 11 year old son is not a fan of art or coloring but is obsessed with military history and tanks. I bought this for him a year ago and it still keeps him busy! He loves to research the historically accurate colors and is asking for more!!

This coloring book is very nice. Good quality of pages and the pictures inside are very nice-so fun to color for my boys.

The details in the book are awesome. I never bought a coloring book like this before and was impressed with it. The only bad thing was not being able to accurately track its arrival. No matter what it's worth getting and getting more of them.

I bought this as a gift for my student If enjoys everything military and is always talking about tanks I had Glitter gel pens which he enjoyed using So my end of year gift to him was a set of gel pens and this coloring book He was so excited to get them

The book has good drawings to color but the book is very biased. If you don't your child to hate someone because of politics then don't buy it.

Great colouring book. Our tank mad 6 year old loves this book. He generally isn't that interested in colouring and also struggles with his handwriting but the fine detail in these pictures has engaged him and encouraged him to use his fine motor skills to control the colouring pencils. The additional information provided under each picture is an added bonus. I can see how these books would appeal to all ages. I will be buying more in the series.

livret anglophone agrafé souple grand format ancien (2000) présentant 44 modèles emblématiques de blindés (choisis dans le monde entier) en n&b prêts à être coloriés; chaque modèle est représenté sur une page; en bas de page, une petite notice explicative avec les caractéristiques du véhicule; les images en couleur servant de modèles sont sur les pages de garde mais seulement pour 7 d'entre eux obligeant à se référer à des livres spécialisés; ce livre de coloriage non exhaustif mais bien fait et sérieux sera parfait pour l'apprentissage d'enfants de plus de sept ans suffisamment soigneux et patients pour s'appliquer; je dois reconnaître avoir été favorablement surpris par la qualité de cette publication, ayant été échaudé par plusieurs tentatives précédentes, et je dois dire que j'ai enfin trouvé ce que je cherchais et j'envisage d'acquérir d'autres ouvrages de la même série (taper sur le moteur de recherche d'Amazon: Dover coloring book); je pense qu'il vaut mieux préférer les ouvrages neufs même s'ils sont légèrement plus chers pour éviter le risque de se retrouver avec un exemplaire crayonné!

My grandson is having fun with this. Nice book and arrived quickly.

Recipient more than happy. good selection of tanks from WW1 to present day. downside is paper a bit thin so pencils only .a felt tips and similar will appear through onto page beneath.
