The Invisible String Review: A Beautiful, Comforting Book for Kids Going Through Loss - The Invisible String was recommended by our pediatrician after my brother passed earlier this year, and I’m so grateful we found it. It explains connection, love, and grief in such a gentle, reassuring way that really clicked with my kids. The message is simple but powerful — that we’re always connected to the people we love, even when they’re not physically with us. Reading it together opened up conversations we needed to have, and it helped my children feel safe, seen, and supported during a really hard time. It’s beautifully written, beautifully illustrated, and such a comfort. Truly a 5/5 book for any family navigating loss, separation, or big feelings. Highly recommend. Review: Great for kids with separation anxiety - My ADHD daughter has separation anxiety. Her therapist recommended this book. It’s a great book for young kids who struggle with separation anxiety. It explains how you are still connected even when apart from those who you love and you are never truly alone. We read it every night!

I love this.
It is the book that you wish.No kid ever needed. I am so glad that it is here.My sweet five year old grandson has been through so much death in his little five years. He lost his data , two and a half , and he just lost his grandfather and the grandfather's dog. I am so glad that books like this exist.Because my sweet grandson and his little tender heart need books like this and his loved ones to read them.

First grade class loved it!
The Invisible String is a beautifully written and heartfelt book that teaches children (and adults) about the unbreakable connections we share with the people we love, even when we are apart. The story provides a comforting and reassuring message, making it perfect for children who experience separation anxiety, loss, or simply need a reminder that love transcends distance. I recently read this book to my daughter’s class for her birthday, and it was an absolute hit! The children were engaged and excited to share their own “invisible strings,” creating a wonderful discussion about love and connection. The message resonated so deeply that I gifted the book to the teacher, who loved it so much that she plans to read it to her students every year. She even had my daughter sign it as a special keepsake, which made the moment even more meaningful. The illustrations are warm and inviting, perfectly complementing the story’s gentle and uplifting tone. I highly recommend The Invisible String for parents, teachers, and anyone looking for a book that fosters emotional resilience and a sense of security in children. It’s a timeless and invaluable addition to any home or classroom library!

ALLTIME FAVORITE CHILDREN’S BOOK 💗
As a school counselor, this is my all time favorite children’s book. I use this almost daily with my students (I just replace the word Heaven with die since it is public school). I have read this book hundreds of times and it always brings students comfort. From the loss of a loved one, loss of a pet, incarcerated loved one, separation anxiety, to missing someone, this book always brings hope and comfort to all who read it. I cannot recommend it enough!
