I used this on my electric smoker and am satisfied. After I got it centered, I let the smoker do it's thing. It does vary in temp by 26*F but my electric stove oven in the kitchen varies by 25*F which works for baking. Been using for a year and still works perfect. Set Dial @ 110*C = 230*F Temp fluctuates (26*F) from 226*F to 252*F (Perfect for Smoking)

Quality is average and I did have to adjust it slightly. But it was a good fit on my Ball brand hot water bath canner. Less than $15 for two when I bought it. Definitely worth the purchase considering a new canner is almost $200.

Used to Built a temp cutoff for my pellet grill so If I smoke a pork butt overnight I don’t have to worry about it turning into a fireball while I sleep. Wired both in series to my grill and either one will cut my grill off around 330 deg. The sensing lines are very small diameter so just got to handle them gently. Working good so far.,

Purchaced this thermostat to upgrade an all digital smoker that had finally give up completely. I bypassed the motherboard and just used the new thermostat to control the heating element. For my use the Chinese thermostat was not sensitive enough as after testing it was found to have at least a 30 degree differential on temp (from off to on). A comparable robertshaw thermostat in the 0 - 250 F range is now running around 80.00 dollars so that wasn't a good option. Ended up with a PID controller with solid state relay (around 17.00 bucks) from Amazon. The install was a little more trouble and I suggest downloading the manual as it is about 8 pages long but very helpful in the programing. End result was now running around a 1/2 to 1 degree differential on the temp after stabilizing. The PID's in this price range are still in Celsius but the convert is easy (C times 1.8 and add 32 =F works for me). If a temp differential of 30 or more degrees will fit your needs the chinese thermostats do work and the price I think was 10 or 11.00 for two, shipping included.

They came 5 days later then was advertised and the packaging could have been better, there was some corrosion on the contacts due to being stored in a moist environment but this cleaned up fine and work and they were cheaper then anyone else!, Would have given 5 start if better packaging and product was in better shape.
