Lots of fun
I really like some of the poses in here and the whole aspect of working with a partner to build a deeper connection with your practice and your partner through the poses. All poses are not appropriate for all participants. I wish there had been a few more base level poses to start out with.

Its Great for building up some Acro Yoga with a partner.
I found this book to be great for beginners and more advanced practitioners. The commentary is also encouraging and helpful for building healthy relationships.

Not worth it
This book was a waste of my money. It's essentially a coffee table book, with many pictures of famous yogis and celebrities in partner poses. The instructions are poorly given, and at times contrary to what I know to be safe from workshops I've done. Many poses are likely to be injurious unless you are very well warmed up, but this isn't explained, and there is no information given as to how you would open your body to lead into each pose. At no point is there any mention of using a spotter, even in poses that could be dangerous without one. There are pictures of poses that are not explained with instructions, but are just in there for "inspiration." The premise of the book is that the development of relationships correspond to the rise of energy in the chakras, "moving from a place of foundation and trust to one of surrender and freedom" (p. 14) but while interesting, the idea isn't fleshed out. Furthermore, while there is at least 2 postures given for each chakra/aspect of relationship, actually doing them in the order they are given would not make sense in your body. I gave it two stars for the beautiful photographs, but if you are really interested in learning partner yoga, there are much better books out there.

didnt have much in it
I was hoping this book would give me more guidance with acro than it did. It was honestly a bit of a let down. I would not have bought it if I knew this before purchasing the book.

A bit hard to understand

Beautifully illustrated book but all the asanas here are advanced and there were only one or two we were inclined to attempt. Would suit advanced practitioners.

Actually, it's a beautiful book, but it's a coffee table book, just to look at it and enjoy it. Beautiful pictures, amazing poses, all full of love. It's nice to have it, and there are some poses that you can do if you have enough Yoga experience, but you must know it's not a book to learn about Yoga or about postures. It's a book to maybe inspire you, or just enjoy looking at. No pose indications or Yoga philosophy at all.
