This seat is very sturdy and comfortable. My only complaint is that the back is a little too straight. I solved this with an inexpensive mesh lumbar support. The quality is excellent. I didn't find any defects in the welds or the stitching. It was easy to assemble and doesn't feel flimsy at all. Having the wheel and pedals stay in place makes it easier to play. The plate that holds the pedals is anchored at the bottom, so will flex a bit due to leverage when you press the pedals hard, but I got used to that pretty quickly. The support for the wheel doesn't move around at all. I didn't get the optional shifter mount since my wheel has paddle shifters. The seat is comfortable to use for long periods. The cushions are firm and supportive. The bottom cushion lifts off so you can vaccuum under it, which is handy when you have pets that like to sleep on it. The seat is a velvety fabric with leather on the headrest, and leather accents at your shoulders and thighs. "Playseat" is embroidered in the headrest, a nice touch to add to the feeling of sitting in an expensive race car.

I bought this l along with the Gearshift Holder Pro to mount my Logitech G920 and Driving Force Shifter. It was delivered quickly and assembly was straightforward. The seat, pedals, and wheel are exceedingly adjustable and the seat can comfortably fit kids and adults. The folding mechanism in the seat is also very practical and makes storing it effortless. Adding onto this, the Alcantara finish feels premium and helps make the chair tremendously comfortable. Additionally, the Gearshift Holder Pro is an extremely solid piece of kit and does not flex at all when shifting. However, the seat is not perfect and has a couple drawbacks. The first drawback is the small amount of flex on the pedal mount. It is barely noticeable except for under hard braking so if you are mounting a heavier load cell you may need to reinforce it. The second drawback is the chair squeaks if you move around in it. It too is barely noticeable unless you are exerting an immense amount of force onto the brakes, causing your back to push into the seat. Overall, the seat has a premium feel and is an excellent beginner cockpit. It has all the features you need, and for the $279.99 I got it for, it is an excellent deal.

Its a decent starter rig best suited for belt driven wheel bases. Easy to assemble and reasonably comfortable. Lots of adjustability. If you plan on upgrading gear later on, don't waste your time with this though. Wish I would of done more research beforehand. There is WAY too much flex in this for any kind of Direct Drive wheel base, or even a high torque belt driven base. For nearly the same price as this, you can get entry level aluminum stock rigs that offer lots of room to upgrade later on and are rock solid If you have pets or a dusty environment, DO NOT get the Alcantara. Learned this the hard way. Everything sticks to it like a magnet, and its extremely difficult to clean

Very good and sturdy easy to assemble gets uncomfy after 2 hours

First of all setup was super easy, literally took maybe 15 minutes, all of my thrustmaster equipment fit perfectly. Once I got everything setup and fitted to my liking I can drive for hours. Everything feels stable, looks nice, easy to move around, and feels durable. I went from a wheel stand to this cockpit and haven't looked back, this is easily the best purchase I have made in a while. Driving feels more natural. I highly recommend the playseat evolution for its ease of setup, price, and overall quality.

My husband loves this but the instuctions didnt add how to mount petals or anything to it.

The seat is about 8 inches off the ground, which is way low, so monitor placement (or having to move the monitor each time) would be an issue for me. The playseat is made with light/thin steel and is fairly narrow, so flex and rocking side to side would likely be a problem, especially on carpeted floor. Also, the steering support bar comes down between the legs/feet, so reaching the gas and brake could be a problem with the bar in the way. Definitely would require 2 feet driving, which is fine for most racing anyway, but could be problematic if pedal spacing is not adjustable. There is a user on Amazon who built a wooden frame/support underneath to cure some of the flex in this product that might help. I plan on building a frame around my current setup, which will be much less costs and should be easier to store. Full Disclosure: I was not able to fully assemble mine and use it since it was missing parts and was returned. After seeing the material, I determined it was going to be too hard to use/store and costed too much for what I received. It also did not appear to be much of an improvement over my current setup in terms of flex/comfort. Seemed like a cool idea, but probably worth building my own and/or spending a bit more to step up to next level or other brand. I really wanted to like this item.

Muy buen producto, lo uso con volante y palanca Logitech. Todo el montaje muy sencillo y te viene con una bolsa con tornillos para ajustar el volante y pedalera, junto a unos velcros y bridas para ajustar los cables. El asiento muy cómodo, se puede plegar o dejar fijo si bajas unas palancas por detras. En el manual te lo indican. Un punto negativo sería no ser regulable en inclinación del respaldo. La pedalera tiene bastante regulación de inclinación con lo que tendremos mucho juego. Regulable en distancia tambien. Y el volante se regula en altura y distancia muy cómodo y rápido Yo suelo hacer bastantes cambios de distancia para otros jugadores, no se hace nada aparatoso y tengo los cables unidos al chasis con dos enganches en el cable a la palanca para tener juego sin estar molestando

Great seat, at 6ft 5inches i was worried that i was going to be 'too big' for it but it is fully adjustable and is fine for someone my height. Quality made product, very study and my logitech g29 fits to the seat perfectly. If youve got the room then these seats are a must.
