GE WB48X10057 Broiler Set

I bought this broiler pan when I purchased a new range that did not come with a broiler pan included. I liked how it looked online, but hoped it was large enough to cook all the food I needed to at once for my large family. It turned out to be even better than I had hoped. Not only is the cooking surface good and large, best surprise of all, it is VERY easy to clean! I used to dread scrubbing my old broiler pan, but this one took very little effort to make look the same as when it came out of the box. And it is made of heavy gauge material that feels made to last. I am looking forward to it lasting at least the life of my new range, which will hopefully be many years. Great product!

Loved the size. Did not like that food residue was difficult to get off even on flat areas and that the pan warped. Looks exactly like the pan my mom gave me 30 years ago when I was first married which is why I purchased it, but it does not function anywhere near as well.

When I bought a new range, the broiler pan was not included (anything to save a buck). I had already gave the old range away to a neighbor for scrap metal before I purchased the new range. I never considered keeping the old broiler pan. After trying all of the appliance stores, I could not find anywhere to purchase a good pan. The only place I found them was at Walmart and Kmart. Both stores sold little cheap broiler pans that were too small and too flimsy. As usual, the only place I could find anything was at amazon. This GE broiler pan was the best I could find. It is very well made, and it is big enough to feed a family. I highly recommend this broil pan to anyone that has a family. Thanks amazon.

I received this well packaged and in a box marked 'genuine G.E. replacement part'; however, after opening it I discovered there was one corner that had been severely bent and the finish busted. This would have had to happen prior to being boxed up, as the packaging was not damaged. I'm disappointed in the damage, as this is exactly the type of broiler pan I was looking for; professional, sturdy, and a large size (big enough to easily broil 6 steaks on). I'm hoping the busted finish doesn't cause the pan to buckle or rust after being exposed to the broiler or clean-up after use. My best guess is that this supplier is selling G.E. rejects. I plan to keep it, but be aware that the quality of product you receive might not be in new/good condition.

We recently bought a new stove, and you can imagine our surprise when there was no broiler pan. We then found out that broiler pans are no longer standard issue with stoves, they need to be purchased separately in many cases. It was difficult to replace the one that was taken away with the old stove (had I known, I would have grabbed it before it went out the door!). There were few online in this size. But this is almost an exact duplicate. Maybe slightly different, but about the same size and very sturdy. I'm glad I was able to find it and so far it's working perfectly well.

My wife really like this broiler pan. It has plenty of space for the things she wanted to cook. Our old pan was just too small for making things for our entire family and was rarely used. This pan is the perfect size. It fits well in the drawer under our range and is also a breeze to clean even after messy cooking like bacon and BBQ pork chops. Yes it is tough to fit in the sink for soaking but that is the nature of a X-Large broiler pan. The porcelain is evenly distributed and looks great. There are no voids in the coating like I have seen on other lower-quality pans. I would recommend this pan for anyone who likes to make big home cooked meals for their family.

I really like this broiler pan -- it is large and very easy to clean.I especially like the large size of this pan. There is a recipe I often make where I cover the bottom of the pan in aluminum foil, then spread slices of potato tossed with olive oil over the bottom of the pan on top of the foil. Then I butterfly a chicken (remove backbone, flip so breast side is up, then flatten by pressing on breastbone), place it on top of the broiler pan and roast in the oven on high heat (500 degrees) for about an hour and fifteen minutes, letting the juices flow down into the bottom, so the potatoes fry in chicken fat. The large pan size means that I can make more potatoes at a time, and the potatoes are the best part of this meal.

Best attribute of this pan is the size; it’s large and square-ish. Our GE 30” smart range just updated with “Steakhouse Mode” which allows cooking multiple steaks to be precision cooked with a probe, the oven will automatically sear via the broiler so wanted a pan that can handle a few ribeye steaks.5 stars due to the size. Other than that, quality is just like any other broiler pan (in a good way).
