I would say it definitely isnt a Zumba workout, well not Zumba as I would imagine a Zumba workout to be. However, that wasnt an issue for me as I am after results and variety to my exercise regimes as this dvd was going form part of varied workout dvd collection that I alternate if/when i started to get bored. Well all I can say it's not for the faint hearted. I began with the 20min demo session as I didnt want to kill myself jumping straight into the 60min full workout. I have done the 60min session about 4 times now and I can honestly say I enjoy the intensity of the workout and the music. It took some getting used to moving to the music especially whilst trying to listen to instructor for moves and form. I will point out that the 60min workout does include a warm up and cool down on either side so it's not as bad as it sounds. If you are looking to kick start your home workout this dvd is definitely worth the money. I have paid alot more for workout DVDs and not been as pleased. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am if you decide to take the plunge! :-)

Fun and effective full body workout
Love this DVD! I love Strong By Zumba and this one hour class really is a full body workout. I've been doing it for a couple of months and have can really see and feel a difference - I'm much fitter, stronger and more toned than before. The instructor is great, really clear and the moves are fairly easy to pick up. The music really does motivate you to push yourself,and also makes it fun!

A high intense work out for those who are looking to get fit
Wow, wow, wow is this INTENSE!!!! Definitely not for beginners or those who aren’t already fairly fit. It’s high impact interval training with some floor work at the end. The instructor doesn’t instruct too well (you’re pretty much forced to pick up the routine straight away or miss it lol!) and some of the movements are so fast paces I became lost at times and just stood watching in astonishment. I imagine though that once the routine is picked up and if you’re fit and healthy enough to do it all that it’s an amazing work out, and it definitely will help shed those pounds and build muscle. All in all I’ve rated this as 4 star because I think all the elements are there as promised to get a lean and ripped body, I just believe the introduction to each move and routine could be better explained and gone through slowly in order to help pick it up whereas she just launches straight into it.

Super fun!
I love this workout, I always look forward to it. I do this 3 days a week and strength training from other programs the other 3 days. I know people do this workout 4 or 5 days a week but me personally would get bored of I did the same workout everyday. I was very sceptical of this program considering it's by Zumba so I thought it would be another dancing workout program - nothing wrong with that it's just not my cup of tea - so I wasn't sure about it until I found the demo on YouTube and watched it and then tried it, and I LOVED it. Thankfully there was a dvd available as I don't want to attend to any live classes due to awful social anxiety. This workout is right up my alley as I love high intense cardio with plyometrics. I love doing Insanity Max 30, Core De Force and Turbo Fire so this was a nice addition. There's a modifier in the 60min workout so everyone can definitely join in on the fun! I recommend this workout.

Good work out
I love my fittness and was looking for a change up to my home work out days. I really like this dvd, i don't have many workout DVD'S as I find them too easy but this is a good workout. Music could be better and louder but other than that I'm very happy with it.

Fun and makes a difference
My favourite work out dvd, possibly one of my favourite workout routines altogether just now. You can modify movements (I do less kicks due to a knee injury) however with a few attempts I can now complete the full dvd. It's a fun workout and doesn't feel like an hour at all. I've definitely noticed a difference.

Great workout, high and low intensity options, great music works the whole body
Love strong by Zumba, had seen some workouts on YouTube so new it would be great, it’s quite intense but the music is great and the instructors really keep you going, they have modified versions of all the moves

Sticking with it and getting results
I purchased this dvd to mix in with my other weekly exercise and I have to say I’m impressed with the results. I had a little mum tum pouch and I’m proud to say it’s toning up thanks to the dvd. Ive been doing it about 4-5 times a week for the last 3 weeks and the results are noticeable. It’s a tough workout and you sweat a lot. It took a few go’s to get into it as she is quite quick going into the moves. Also I’ve progressed from sticking with Ai Lee rather than Alex! If you want to have a full body workout and really feel the burn then this is the dvd for you.

Lo que más me ha gustado es que puedes ir avanzando en el nivel de intensidad de los ejercicios. Lo que menos, el nivel de la música es mucho más bajo que la locución y eso a mí personalmente me desmotiva un poco. Pero es un dvd de ejercicios muy bueno y muy bien explicado

Benché l'audio della musica sia leggermente inferiore alla voce dell'istruttrice, la lezione intera ha la durata di oltre 50 minuti ed è fatta bene in tutte le sue parti. C'è l'opzione per scegliere la lingua o inglese o tedesco, ma ciò è veramente irrilevante, perché la coach ti guida in tutti i movimenti alla perfezione, commentandoli e per chi conosce un minimo di inglese, risulta di facile comprensione. Fra l'altro, ti indica anche quando è il momento di bere l'acqua fra un quadrante e l'altro, appare il riepilogo scritto di tutti i movimenti eseguiti (salto della katana, calcio e pugno, ecc) oltre al timer con la durata di ogni singolo quadrante. È una marcia in più per avere una formazione minima completa di strong by zumba in previsione dell'acquisizione del brevetto da istruttrice o per chi vuole familiarizzare con questo sport, visto che in giro non esiste un corso completo di strong. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi è volitivo e motivato.

Ich bin mit dem Workout wirklich begeistert! Das Workout besteht aus 4 minütigen Warm-up, 4 Blöcke mit 9-12 min Dauer, und 4 minütigen Cool-down. Die erste 3 Blöcke sind Kardio-intensiv, wobei die Intensität von einem zu anderem Block steigert. Im 4. Block geht es um Rumpf. Mann kann auch einzelne Blöcke wählen, aber dann ohne Warm-up und Cool-down. Einer der Mitturner zeigt immer die einfachere Version jeder Übung. Es gibt, als extra, ein 20 minütiges Workout, das aus den Teilen des Hauptprogramm zusammengestellt wurde. In dieser, kurze, Version werden keine einfachere Optionen gezeigt. Diese kurze Version ist auch auf dem youtube Kanal von Zumba Strong veröffentlicht, und so kann man sehen ob es etwas für ihn/sie ist. Wie schon in der Beschreibung des DVDs steht, es ist kein Tanz DVD; das Workout ist mehr auf MMA basiert, was mir sehr gut gefällt. Das Workout ist anstrengend, man kommt ganz gut ins Schwitzen und Herzschlag geht ganz in Höhe. Ich habe persönlich wirklich Spaß damit gehabt, aber das ist eine Geschmackssache und jeder muss für sich entscheiden. Auch wenn einfachere Optionen im Hauptprogramm gezeigt sind, ich bin nicht sicher ob das Workout für Anfänger geeignet ist. Es gibt eine (sehr) kurze Einleitung, wo einige Hinweise darüber was man machen soll beschrieben sind, aber für Anfänger reicht das nicht. Dazu noch, das Tempo ist sehr schnell und für die Anfänger ist meiner Meinung das nicht gut. Mir hat das Workout so gut gefallen, dass ich gerne die nicht-so-gute Qualität des DVDs im-Kauf nehmen kann. Wenn ich die Qualität benoten wurde, die 3 Sterne wurden gerade so reichen. Menüführung ist nicht so gut (aber, wenn man es ausprobiert hat, und weißt wo man drucken soll, es geht). Musik (die eigentlich einen puschen soll) ist zu leise (obwohl, wenn sie lauter wäre, hätte man Probleme die Instruktionen zu folgen). Die Mitturner im Hintergrund sehen irgendwie lustlos aus, aber die Haupttrainerin ist echt toll, sie macht die Übungen wirklich gut und redet kein Quatsch. Sie retet das ganze DVD. Und ich konzentriere mich immer auf sie. Was auch sehr gut ist, ist das restliche Zeit in jedem Block gezeigt wird, so dass man immer weisst wie lange noch bis zu Pause, und die kommende Übungen werden immer aufgelistet, so dass man weißt, was auf einen kommt. Trotz nicht so tolle Qualität, von mir eine klare Empfehlung (aber nicht für Anfänger!).
