Perfect way to carry a couple of spare batteries. Tester is a plus, though reading is a bit of a challenge.

NOT A BATTERY TESTER
This can be used only to check the battery voltage BEFORE you put it in the hearing aid to make sure it has been air activated. It is otherwise useless as anything other than a battery storage case. The description mentions electricity bounce, but does not say this will only test a NEW battery.

Correction
I previously wrote this comment. Its a error. This product works fine !! Previous comment - its to a different product: Product arrived okay; but 95% of the batteries were 50% or less and totally unusable. Don't waste your money! I just discarded them. Also I did utilized a hearing aid battery tester to test the batteries.

Works great - well worth the price
About ten years ago, I bought a bunch of hearing aid batteries but did not use them for ten years. Recently, I started wearing hearing aids consistently and although the batteries expired over seven years ago, I didn't want to throw them away if they still worked. Using this device, I have been able to use the batteries that still work. I have found that the batteries are either totally dead (around 30% of batteries) or are as good as new. I have used these batteries for the last three months along with a few new batteries and the old ones last just as long.
