Brilliant VFM tracker
Fitted to my Audi A8, does exactly what a says, easy to fit, easy to set up and so far reliable. Definitely aimed at the fleet market but as a personal use device it's excellent has more features than you will use and app UI is easy to figure out. Had this installed and up and running it 20 mins. Didn't install directly to the battery as I wanted it hidden from potential thieves so connects to a 12 volt lice and earth tapped up the wires with loom tape and hid thrle unit away behind some trims for a factory look. Overall great value for the money, subscription at £50 for 6onths is good if you have the car for the long term then 3 year subscription is the cheapest.

If Carlsberg made trackers... It still wouldn't beat this.
Proper review coming up.. TLDR at the end.. Package arrived nicely boxed and I opened it up to find it's even smaller than I had anticipated. The cables are simply positive and negative but have plenty of length. I followed the instructions and registered it first then rushed to my car to install it to find that my battery is encased in a bracket with a BMS (Battery Mananagement System) on top. - that's lots of different terminals of varying colour. Not wanting to damage anything, I left it until the next day when I took it to my local garage and chucked the chap a tenner to find me a positive & negative (before you say anything, no, both cables are black and one is hidden on this modern car). He used a volt meter and in under 5 minutes, he had installed it and it works beautifully. Yes there is a subscription charge, but for what you get, it's amazing value for money. I've used TomTom's telematics and this is as good, if not better, for a fraction of the price! Both the app and the web console are fantastic, though you can do a bit more on the web console, such as set up zones etc. The signal strength and accuracy is extremely good, although not pinpoint (to my knowledge no device currently is), it is within a few metres at most. The device has a backup battery which lasts a long time, it can also alert you if it detects movement (vibrations), ignition on, idling, harsh braking or cornering, speeding and much more! It's easy to hide if you don't want people to find it (though I'm not worried about that). I do think the company could put some newer installation guides online covering newer vehicles and IF anything, that's the ONLY negative side, but a drink for the bloke that did it faster than I could? - worth it! TLDR: Possibly the best I've used Great price with great monthly subscription options that won't break the bank Accurate Versatile (Geofencing, vehicle monitoring etc) Modern cars may be a bit more fiddly to install Very well worth the money.

Great value vehicle tracker.
Very useful vehicle tracker. Easy to install and robust. Provides good information through the app, with accurate GPS position data. Shows current battery voltage and has a wide range of alerts. Excellent value for money purchase, although the £8 minimum monthly subscription is not cheap. I use it for a boat and it provides peace of mind.

Db2, bought a second one!
Bought one 2 years ago, easy to install and faultless so far. Geofencing alerts are excellent, used on the motorbike. Just bought another, again easy to install, reliable and add to gpslive with ease.

Good little tracker
So we have a van which we decided needed a tracker. There are a lot of cheap versions which have some features but wanted something a bit more substantial and UK based. Thus the DB2. The ease to install....yes has 2 clips you can connect directly to the battery. However no indication of any fuse which I would expect with any 12v device. Just personally I like that extra peace of mind that the device isn't going to overheat and burn. It has a built in battery so if it disconnects it can continue to monitor for a short while. Set up is easy. scan the barcode on the app and voila. You get like a 2 week trial for free. Yes it works out £5 per month but the minimum i could see to buy was 3 months. Not sure where the 1 month is. Next up is the configuration. You can do some via the app and you can monitor but if you want to do any zones or clever alarms you have to use the web page on a desktop PC. Now the caveat in relation to the no hidden costs. Web notifications are free via the app. You have up to 150 emails a month. (not sure why the limit as emails are free if you have a mail server) SMS - you get none with the plan. if you want text messages with you alerts that is extra. £12.50 for 50. That works out 25p per text which in this day and age is rather expensive. So far like the device and the app and the web page work well. Am not against the company but have dropped the one star for limited emails and no sms at all with the subscription.
