The ultimate sound machine.
The seller leveled this microphone a USB Microphone. But this microphone is not USB Microphone. It is a XLR microphone. USB Port is for charging battery only. Use Audio Interface with this microphone. I have got it. The best one. I was using a dynamic microphone. Dynamic microphone are very sensitive to plosive. RODE NTG+ is plosive free. Excellent quality. I am lucky because I get at discunted price.

This is gem for independent filmmaker!!
This is absolutely great choice if you are an independent filmmaker. For on field recording purpose, you will get what you actually want from a mic. The noise level is very low. Sound quality is authentic. Simply go for it.

Good Value For Money
Good shotgun. Mic. The inbuilt re-chargeable battery is a great feature. Pricing is another positive point. Having used it extensively, I have found it to be a lower-gain mic than the NTG-3 or any Sennheiser as well as less bright sounding. But it is at a much better price. Post-script: AN IMPORTANT NOTE. I noticed that product description says that it is a USB mic. This is misleading, since it has a XLR connection to connect the audio cable. The USB socket is ONLY to charge the battery within the body of the mic.

Do NOT buy if you are in India
I have ordered from amazon, and it started giving me trouble then i find out about rode customer service which is no where in india , no store no number no chat support. I mail the original looters US they did not bother to entertain told us we only provide service to people who bought from authorised seller, if amazon is not your authorised seller why it is listed here.

No need for AA batteries
Just get this plus version already, not needing new batteries everytime is soooo underrated!
