I ended up ordering this because of the great price and the high review ratings. I planned on building my husband a backlit sign to hang in his office (the one he wanted cost around $1800 and I figured I could make it MUCH cheaper!). Now that the project is complete, I can say I’m extremely happy with this controller as well as the LED strip lights and power supply, all from Lighting EVER. I assumed I need the controller to be able to use the LED lights, since Amazon showed it as a product customers bought in conjunction with the lights (this is my fault for not reading the product description, I was in a rush when ordering and didn’t bother doing research. I just relied on reviews). I realized after I received everything that I didn’t need the remote to use the lights. Without it, I just wouldn’t be able to adjust the light intensity or the flashing pattern. The controller allows me to dim the lights very low or change them to very bright, which is useful during daytime hours. There are many flashing patterns such as slow or fast fade and strobe, to name a few. The ONLY thing I don’t like is that the sensor, which connects between the end of the LED strip and the power supply, is white while the power supply is black. My sign frame happens to be black so the white piece is a bit of an eyesore. I should have done some looking to see if there was a black option. Live and learn! Anyhow, I think I have about $20 total into all 3 components from Lighting EVER. The products are easy to use and install. I’ll be buying a color changing set to install on the rear of my TV to illuminate the edges. Great product!

This is a great convenience for an outdoor LED light strip. The power supply and this tiny controller are located inside my garage, and the fact that this is RF rather than being infrared allows it to work through the garage wall (concrete block wall, paint on one side), without having to install more wiring or go in the garage, or find a window or anything. We mostly use it for On/Off, but the full brightness / minimum brightness also is used depending on what we are doing outside. There are other settings like flashing and a fade-in/out, which might be useful for advertising or something. To me those modes makes the backyard feel like a scene from a bad horror movie :-), so we don't use those modes, but they are available. It seems to stay perfectly cool, with one full strip of 5630 LEDs (5A). The 12A rating leads me to believe it could handle 2 of them. The wide voltage capability leads me to think this could be used for other things. (I only have one, and I don't know if they can be set to different channels.) Paid the very reasonable full Amazon price for this and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this item. Again, the biggest feature for me is that being an RF controller rather than infrared makes our outdoor installation much more convenient to use and control, right through the wall.

Works great with the LED strip lights (where you hack off the length you need). Price is nice and low for what appears to be a quality device. Remote seems to have a good range in a normal room -maybe 10 feet reliably, and that's with the receiver end behind wood and tile. The extra stroby effects are useless to me, but some folks may like them. I do like the quick 25%, 50% 100% dim buttons: I use it on a Keezer tower and I can dim the lights as we get more hammered. UPDATE: One of the ones I bought died after the return period but before the warranty was up. Marina at Neon Mart got back to me in less than 24 hours and has already shipped me a new one. UPDATE: The replacement worked fine for a month or so but died down the road. I do have to say that I have it inside a beer keezer where it's about 38F and humid. Maybe it can't handle the cold and humidity.

Nice set of modes for different effects. Maybe I do a video review one day? Worked fine out of the box. Used it on a short strand of white smd5050's , probably about 8 watts or so. I can't speak yet to longevity or ability to handle larger loads. Nice, thin remote and small, hideable circuit board of the controller make it a neat gadget for the $. I will probably by more. Really like Lighting Ever items so far as EVERYTHING purchased has worked so far! Price is great as well. I really like their daylight strips! Updates to come should new info arrive...

This is not an RF remote transmitter. First clue is the lens on the front edge, Radio Frequencies don''t need a lens or window to look out. This remote is ok, but will not work from say, another room or from behind a wall. RFs would. If they wouldn't then any AM of FM radio would have to be line of sight from its transmitter. If you want proof read on.......I used to take my VCR remotes to an RCA service center in the 80s when I suspected a problem Infrared remotes weren't as strong back then and didn't work as well as they do now. I kept noticing the tech opening a drawer and pointing my remote inside the drawer until I finally asked him what he was doing. He showed me a laminated card about the size of a credit card with a square pad in the middle. It was an RCA Infrared Indicator/tester and had to be used in low light which is why he used it inside a drawer. Well, being a tech myself and a gadget freak I just HAD to have one, so he ordered me one. And, it's come in handy several times over the years. SO, I tested this remote on it, and guess what, even though clearly is printed on the front "RF Wireless", It's infrared, not Radio Frequency. It's true you can bounce an Infrared signal off glass like a framed picture on a wall, or bounce it off a wall itself, but it's got to be a wall inside the same room as the receiver. It won't go through a wall like a true RF transmitter would. Need further proof, check the photos I took using this remote on my tester.

Ich verwende den LED Controller im Auto. Durch die varialbe Eingangsspannung von 5-24V gibts quasi auch keine Probleme. Andere Controller können nur explizit bis zu 12V, sonst könnten die durchbrennen. Das Paket kam recht schnell, da aus Deutschland versandt. Der Controller war wie abgebildet mit den Steckern vormontiert. Mangels passender Gegenstücke musste ich diese abschneiden. Man kann dann Lüsterklemmen dran mach, oder was besser ist, das ganze verlöten. Angeschlossen hab ich bisher zwei rote 30cm lange LED-Strips als Fußraumbeleuchtung während der Fahrt. Diese lassen sich nun schön quasi stufenlos Dimmen oder ganz ausschalten. Laut Anleitung sind es 256 Abstufungen. Da die Befehle per Funk und nicht per IR übertragen werden, kann der Controller hinter der Verkleidung verschwinden, sehr gut! Die verschiedenen Programme sind eine ganz nette Spielerei, brauch ich im Auto aber nicht. Preis/Leistung ist hier TOP, würde ich wieder kaufen!

Funciona muy bien. Facil de instalar. No necesitas apuntar al dispositivo para que responda el mando por lo que puedes esconderlo donde quieras. Por poner pegas, tiene demasiados modos que, a mi, me sirven bien poco (nada). por lo demas genial. Destacar el modo de reducir/aumentar el brillo que va muy bien.

Love how this worked and installed. We don't have the RV I put it in anymore but I will get another one for the new RV when I have the time to add it!!!!!
