Excellent Coffee Maker
If you're looking for a great coffee maker that is small enough to fit into a tight space and still have more than 1-2 cups of coffee then this is it. It is a very good coffee maker that lasted for a long time. We had 2 because at the time we were making 2 different strengths of coffee. We have a small kitchen and having 2 of them did not take up so much space because of the height and width. I highly recommend this coffee maker.

Great cheap coffee maker.
I've been using a filter cup and filters, really easy to clean up and use, not very convenient to pour hot water into the filter cup every few minutes. Which is why I got this coffee maker. This product arrived on time and in great shape.Item is light and well made (so far no problems). The plastic feels cheap but it works and is cheap so.....Nice removable plastic basket, I use a basket filter that I used for the filter cup, there's a swivel spout that you move out of the way to remove the filter basket, if you forget to push the spout back over the filter basket then when you close the lid it's made in a way to push the spout over the coffee grounds. The carafe is glass and plastic. The hot plate works well. All in all it's even faster than my filter cup and nice and hot just not burning hot so if you want burning hot look elsewhere. It does take about 50% more coffee grounds to make the same amount I would use with the filter cup. I typically drink one large mug which is equivalent to this carafe, I've cut down my coffee to 1/2 - 3/4 of this carafe to make up the difference in the coffee usage. For the price the convenience is worth it and now I don't have to stand over my coffee filing up the filter cup every few minutes. Love it.

Basic coffee maker, perfect for a smart home project
My setup:- Google assistant- This coffee maker- A smart outlet adapter- Google routinesI set up two routines:- "Make the coffee," "turn on the coffee pot" - basically variations on what people in my house would say. It turns the power to the coffee maker on for 3 hours, announces "Good morning! The coffee is being made and will turn itself off in 3 hours. Enjoy your day!" and then starts playing the news.- "Turn off the coffee" (and variations) - turns off the power to the coffee maker off and announces "setting the coffee maker to boil." (yes, it's funny to us!)I also named the smart outlet "proctor silex" when setting it up, so I can address it directly by name and not have google misinterpret it for a "turn on" request. That way I can turn on/off with the routines or ask it "is proctor silex on?"My latest update to the routines leans on a new assistant feature that lets it do something when a device does something, such as turning on a fan when the light is turned on. Here, I added a routine so that when the smart outlet for the coffee turns on, Google will announce on all speakers that the coffee maker was turned on. Little bit of a safety backup in case a kid gets a little.... curious.

Simple, attractive 10-cup drip coffeemaker
We've been using this model for years, and can no longer find it where they used to be: discount stores where they sold out immediately. We like it so much, we always have one at our cottage, too, so I was happy to find this at Amazon. We've never had one "die," but the heating plate starts looking yucky after a while. (I don't know why these companies all coat the plates with Teflon; it degrades and flakes off.) You CAN place a circular piece of aluminum foil there, which will eventually "mold" to the plate. For those who thought the on-off switch might be short-lived with daily use (it's not), the big box home improvement stores have adapters with an on-off switch, which you plug into the socket. Then you plug the coffeemaker into it and use the ADAPTER'S switch. One model's switch even lights up, like the switch on the coffeepot. This coffeepot is clearly not programmable, so don't expect that or rate it based on that. But if you want a simple, no-frills, drip coffeemaker, this is for you.

carafe tends to spill coffee on cabinet when pouring.
I purchased this simple coffee maker to use with a smart plug (no built in timer and good price). It works great in that regard. The problem with it is that you cannot pour coffee from the carafe without spilling. I have had this for weeks an it angers me every day. The carafe has a bad design on the spout part and you would need to pour really slow or it spills. Who has time for that in the mornings? I would take a chance on a different one.
