I've had this for a year now and love it. The style is awesome, it's interesting, rustic, and looks good anywhere. It produces more than enough scent and gives off a calming bubbling sound while working. You can hear the motor going if you're close to it (mines on my desk) but it's not distracting or loud. The tank inside is white plastic and easy to take apart and clean. Other diffusers I've had were awkward to clean and also, when you refill the tank, they've been messy as you have to get the lid in line with the main tank for the drip channel to match up. With this one, it is easy as the lid of the tank is designed such that you can only put it on if they're in line, which makes it so much easier (I don't know if any of that made sense, but it will when you try it!). The light colours can be cycled through by pressing the right hand button repeatedly. The first time you press it to turn it on, it will be on auto-cycle mode, in which it will automatically fade through all the colours. The left hand button is to turn on the diffuser itself, and you can set this from 30 minutes to 3 hours. The light doesn't automatically turn on with the diffuser, so if you didn't want the light on, you wont have to cycle through all the colours to get it to turn off again. I bought the smaller 100ml tank which is plenty big enough for me. On a full tank, I can run it for a good few hours. If it does run out, it switches off automatically, although the lights remain on 👌.

Love this. Looks pretty and has good water capacity lasting all day. Saves having to keep topping up. I have a large area and it makes the house smell lovely with the right choice of oil. Put it on in the morning and forget about it. When the 6 hours run out press the buttons again and there is still enough water left in it to last the evening.

I will start this review by saying this is NOT 500ml! I use a 500ml bottle to fill up my diffuser and if filled to the max fill line its 400ml. Not a major issue but something to be aware of. This unit itself is lovely. Well made and looks nice even when switched off which is what I wanted. It kicks out a decent amount of vapour. It all depends on the oils you use and how much you use. I use the pure scented oils that I buy from Amazon and theyre the best ive tried, and I have tried a lot.... I am still having to use around 15 drops with this diffuser though with it being a 400ml capacity. Noise wise you can hear it when the room is quiet. Its just a faint hum. Cannot be heard over the TV. If youre on the fence because of the price, just do it. Ive had lots and lots of diffusers over the years and I can confidently say this one is worth it.

Not had it long ago can't vouch for longevity, but I am pleased with it so far. First, the design is quite tasteful and the metallic sleeve part looks great illuminated - strong colours showing off the Moroccan style lattice. I chose the smaller model (see pics to size compare with a wine bottle) as I liked the cut-outs on the top - not all the related ones do. Switched off, it has a gold painted look. Just choose a favourite colour, or let it drift slowly through the spectrum - it can be used as an atmospheric lamp, with or without the diffuser... which can run without the light on, too. Comes with a plastic top up jug - and it's simplicity itself to fill to the right level. Clear instructions provided. Pop in a few drops of essential oil, and away we go, it works instantly (to my surprise), a little plume of mist rising. It's pretty much silent save for the occasional burble. Good quality lead, reasonable length, and it plugs in underneath - the raised feet are rubber finished so it doesn't slip. Will update review if anything goes awry!

This is the first time we have purchased and used an electric diffuser - bought after seeing a different one at a friend's. Really pleased with it - looks great, works well. We find that it only requires a few drops of oil. Please note that this one's size means that it will not fit on a window sill. We have now purchased the smaller version, which will be more portable but contains much less liquid.

Purchased this in June this year and loved it. It gave a really nice output of vapour, relatively quiet and has a nice option of glow light settings. Unfortunately a few months on and it's started leaking all over the place from around the seal. I kept the unit clean, always wiped it down before refilling and never overfilled it. Where it leaks is at the bottom where all the electrics are, so is really dangerous so have not been able to use it. Nothing looks worn, or torn anywhere around the seal so it definitely has a serious fault. As it was out of Amazon's 30 day return phase, I tried to contact SALKING through their online form with all the details, order number etc. and didn't get any reply or acknowledgement. 2 weeks later I used their after sales customer services email to chase up my query and to say I've had no response - nothing again for over a week! I sent a follow up email to say if you don't respond by my deadline, I will be contacting Amazon to complain and ask for advice and said I will write an honest, but negative review. That deadline passed, I contacted Amazon about the issue and typical Amazon, they requested the item back and are refunding me the full cost of the unit (which they didn't have to do, so thank you Amazon!) So, if you want this unit and want to take the risk of it being faulty in the near future, go ahead, but if you rely on good customer service (or any service at all!) DO NOT BUY THIS as their support is absolutely USELESS. I'm buying something else now as never going near this company again. Good luck!

The Diffuser is excellent very easy to use. It's great value for the cost

Got this for Christmas and instantly loved it. The tank is huge and lasts for hours (at least 5), then switches itself off when it's ran out of water. The light function is great, I like a bit of mood lighting at night to sleep and this isn't too bright. If you go through the colours it's has a function to slowly go through them all, I like this one best. The light function did stop working after a few months and I was out of warranty with Amazon. I contacted SALKING direct, they honoured their 18 month guarantee and sent me another. Amazing customer service. What's not to love about that!
