Has a switch to select android and iOS but it works only with ios. Does not work with Android with my Asus Zenfone 5z. Shows random and haphazard rising and lowering of volume.ordered a replacement cable with the same results. Shure must check compatibility and then advertise.

Defective item
Got a defective product the first time, only works with iPhones, doesn't even get recognised on my Android! Getting a replacement now and I'll update the review if it works.
