This is a great item, it's very durable and easy to use you don't have to only use it with the wall mounts you can actually use it without. I like that you can fold it up and set it to the side of the room and it doesn't take up much space at all when you are not using it!

We bought this for our new puppy. It is a good weight and sturdy in construction. It is a little difficult to bend at the joints, but once you use it, you know it can't be moved or knocked down easily at all. The large size was surprising and great! Don't hesitate in buying it. And it's made in the USA!

This product was great and worked exactly as expected. Good quality and easy to assemble. It kept my baby safe and contained without making him feel trapped. It was a good size but I like that you can buy more panels to make the pen bigger if needed. I did end up returning because it was a little too big for my small apartment, but that’s no fault of the product itself :)

Works as intended. The added grip stickers are a nice touch. Didn't include mounting hardware as advertised and company has not responded to emails.

We bought two of these to connect them and creat a large, safe space for our twins. It’s huge. So much room for our infants!

I bought this under the Used Amazon Warehouse Deals. It came to me brand new, except missing the floor non-stick pads which is fine because I don't need them right now (can be purchased from North States website for about $3.50). I also purchased the 2 panel extension kit. All together this makes an 8 panel very large play area. I used it in the beginning when my baby was 4 months. Still at 5 months old, if I put him down (on top of his aired-out "safe" mat from Skip Hop) with a blanket and a bunch of toys, he looks like he is so tiny in there. He cries for me to pick him up in about 5 minutes. So, this is for a little bit older. Once he starts crawling (which is why I bought this- so he could practice) I will get more use out of this. It definitely keeps the dogs out; they cry to come inside the play area. It's an area that stays clean - meaning no mud or dog hair. Likes: -Color! I never thought I'd have colors in my house (mostly grey's etc.), but this was a must have for me so my baby did not feel like he was in a concrete jail. The colors are fun & it looks nice. -Size: With the extension this thing is huge and has plenty of room for 2 adults and the baby. We are average size people. -Portability: Ive had to fold it up several times and it folds nicely & has caused no damage to my fence. Dislikes: -Climbing over the gate to put baby inside. I might get the gate later on. Climbing over is not a deal breaker, I think this play room gate is awesome! I'm pretty minimal in what I have for the baby because we do alot of nature walking etc. I am sooo happy with this purchase.

So overall this does what I needed it to. I was looking for something that would attach to a wall and be movable. I have these tricky stairs I was trying to block my toddler off from. The pros for this unit is it comes with two optional hinges. They screw onto the wall. Please note that only one of the hinges swings freely, as you would expect a hinge to operate. The other is stationary. I didn't realize this when I ordered it and it took me a while to figure out what was going on when I installed the first part of it to my wall. I found the setup to be a little bit difficult, but I never bothered to read the directions, and I was completely exhausted from moving into a new house. So my troubles with setup could have been user error and it may be easier for most people. I find the connected panels very difficult to turn and position in the right angle. There is this spring loaded corner that you push down on and the unit is supposed to turn. Once in a while it swings and moves easily, but most of the time, in my experience I can't get the unit to skip passed these notches that lock the corners in place. Don't expect to change the shape of it very easily while juggling a toddler. The hinge that swings freely feels rather flimsy. I set this side up with a single panel at the top of the stairs. I lock it to the banister with a ratchet strap to keep little one from opening and closing it. It works pretty well. If my son starts aggressively trying to get down the stairs for some reason, I'm fully expecting this hinge to break. The box says its for ages up to two years old. I'm guessing that and the unit's rather short height are the reason for this. I like this product well, enough, that I may purchase an additional hinge set to block off the stairs in the playroom in the basement. I still have two panels left from my project. However, I may opt to purchase something more sturdy, if I can find something long enough for this spot.

I ordered two of these for my twins. We pretty much have our entire living room fenced off. We even purchased a door that goes to this fence, so it will be easy to get in and out. Just know it can feel flimsy even though it's sturdy. You will have to zig-zag it to ensure your baby won't turn into Hercules and orchestrate their first prison break.

This has been a really useful purchase. At first I used it to keep my crawling baby contained in a room or outside. Now that he's 2yrs, I use 3 sections of it to block the wide opening for the steps on our deck so he can't escape (It's roped to the railing in a straight line). It's good quality, doesn't scratch our floors, and holds its shape. The colours make it look nice too. I'm 5"3 and can step over it easily enough ( I do need to go on tip toes though). It folds up nice and flat. The only drawback is that I've found it rather cumbersome to try to fold up, since it holds its shape so well it can be hard to force the joints to move. So that's a bit of a catch 22. I'd definitely buy it again though.
