Great quality for the money - would recommend to anyone else
I am really pleased with this mic stand. I wanted a short stand like this for my home studio where I record playing the guitar seated. Higher stands are a fiddle when micing up the guitar. Build quality, imho, punches way above the price asked for it. Very sturdy materials, sturdy base, strong latches on the boom extension. Good looking as well. Highly, highly recommended by me.

Poor Quality
I absolutely love the size of this stand and like all Gravity products ( I have a number) they are well made on the whole so much so I brought 2. However, one appears to be defective and the finish has pealed off on the base of the stand exposing the underlying metal. Given this is just 3 months old and only used a handful of times, it is totally unacceptable and will put me off purchasing further products if this is going to happen. Had it been in the return window, I'd be returning it.
