These look so much better in my fire pit than the black lava rocks that came with it. They are a deep blue with a reflective quality. I bought the 20 lb bag for the same price as 10 lbs were at the big box store. Very happy with this purchase.

I took a chance on this being as nice as it looked in the product photos and description. It did exceeded my expectations. I ordered the 20 pound bag unsure if the 10 pound bag was going to be enough. It was plenty and I have extra leftover. Our fire table measures approximately 12 inches wide by 28 inches long and is approximately 2 inches deep. I was able to cover the entire propane burner and the fire still worked incredibly well. I went thin over top of the burner to allow the gas to escape, but also went very thin near the igniter so that the spark would ignite the gas in a non-eventful sort of way. Lol. I'd like the Caribbean like blue color because it reminds me of vacation and the sparkle coming off of these mirrored pieces of glass add a nice ambience. I thought it was a little expensive but now that I purchased it and have seen the product I am quite content with the price I have paid for it. I highly recommend this product! The only thing I would say would be to wear gloves when you are spreading out the glass so you do not get cut. If you decide to purchase, enjoy!

We converted from a wood-burning fireplace to vented gas logs about nine months ago. We have enjoyed the convenience, but not the look of the rectangular base of the “set” sitting on the plain cement firebox floor after years of seeing embers and ashes there. We considered many options including lava rock, but decided to give this a try. This particular type of glass has a much more organic look and shape than the variety of options that look like a pile of broken tempered glass that you often see in outdoor gas fire pits. The 20-pound bag arrived well packaged. Once I pulled the string to open the end of the bag, I could tell it was a bit “dusty” from bouncing around in shipping, but by slightly wiping one piece, I could tell that it had a glistening surface. So, I got out an old colander and gave it a quick rinse with the garden hose and dumped it onto an old towel to pat dry. This whole task took less than 5 minutes and was definitely worth it, as it brought out its darker/richer black color and shinier qualities. We love how the flames reflect on the glass rocks and give it some “movement” and visual interest now! One 20-pound bag gave very good coverage in our large firebox around the gas log base. Highly recommend!

They are a conversational piece and an eye catcher. They are a lovely colour. We used them in our garden around the fountain. The only disappointment was the bag did not weigh 20lbs. It only weighed 19lbs. If every bag they sell @19lbs, they make a nice profit shorting every bag by 1lb. I ordered 2 bags at the same time, but shipped separately. I will be weighing the 2nd one and see if it is the same outcome.

Excellent quality for our fire table. The pieces were all of uniform size and quality. It is just broken glass (Fire rated) that shimmers beautifully and love the deep blue colour it provides. I used 3/4 of bag and was more than enough to overfill the Table (more than this covered the flame and needed to remove) There is lots left over for top ups if ever needed. The glass is a big improvement from the lava rock we had and really upgrades the table. We have run this for hours on end and have no issues with glass popping or any concerns what so ever. This seemed to be one of the better deals on Amazon and glad we made this purchase and would recommend this. I spent several hours reading reviews and comparing products and feel this research paid off ! Hope this review helps !
