This is a very nice set. I bought it as a gift for a young man (12) who loves to write. It comes with refill cartridges, so he won't have to worry about that any time soon. Each pen writes smoothly. They are a good weight, too. The presentation case is attractive for this price point. It's not one that is meant to be kept long term, though. But I didn't buy the set for the case, so I'm perfectly happy.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, and he totally loves this set!!! He is enjoying the light weight and smooth consistent writing.. TWO writing implements in ONE set is an amazing deal for the price. These pens are VERY good looking, and my husband keeps telling me how great this gift has been. This pen set is just beautiful! I am so happy that I purchased it for myself because it writes so well and creamy! Glides on any paper and does not bleed through to the other side. I have also purchased 4 more of these pens as gifts for my family and friends and they all love the pen as much as I do. It comes with a very nice storage box that is black with a satin like fabric. Inside the box are the 2 pens along with 2 refills. The box also makes a great carrying case that you can throw in your purse or bag. Both pens are great quality that I am very pleased with. They are not to thin and not to bulky. A very sleek and beautiful pen with a nice rose gold finish. The ink color on both of the pens is black and they really do write well. Very happy with this purchase and am happy that my friends and family are happy as well.

I gifted these to my dad for Christmas because he writes a lot. He LOVES them. He thought I spent a fortune on these because of the way they looked, but he was so shocked to find I just ordered them here! The pens are smooth and inky and look very professional. Great gift for the holidays!

Two pens come in this set with two ink refills in the "presentation case". One pen twists to bring the ink cartridge out in order to write with it, and the other pen requires you to pull the cap off in order to write with it. The "twist-to-write" pen is easy to hold and the ink writes and flows well. However, I found the "pull-the-cap-off" pen to have two issues. First of all: The cap takes a very very hard pull to remove it. Secondly: The ink cartridge within the pen did not function well. It felt like I was scratching on the paper and the ink did not flow well. In fact, I had to discard that cartridge and replace it with the spare ink cartridge in the presentation case. The replacement cartridge's ink flowed better but not quite as well as the "twist-to-write" pen. Note: With the cap removed, the "pull-the-cap-off" pen was shorter (4.5 inches) compared to the "twist-to-write" pen (5.5 inches). Also, when you grip the "pull-the-cap-off" pen to write, it has a much narrower grip on it. That pen would be comfortable enough to write a note or grocery list, but the "twist-to-write" pen, with its comfortable grip, would allow you to write a letter! 5 STARS for the "twist-to-write" pen. 3 STARS for the "pull-the-cap-off" pen.
