Allstar Performance ALL18220 Cleco Plier

Granted I am but a mere hobbyist fabricator, and not an experienced aircraft technician, but these Cleco pliers work just fine for me. I found the value for quality to be fairly consistent of other things that I have purchased from Allstar Performance; they are a good brand. I noticed that several of the reviews mentioned the size/geometry of these pliers being a bit off. I’m a large guy, and I have medium sized hands...I suppose I could see how if you had very small hands that the geometry might make these a bit fiddly, but I don’t have any trouble using them one-handed. I hope that that information is helpful to someone.

Works fine, good price, strongly made. Just to carp a little - all of these pliers seem a less ergonomic than they could be. As I use them, I seem to be putting my hand and wrist at a strange angle for some reason. I feel that if they were a little angled to the left that they would be easier to use. Maybe not.

I use these at work nearly daily, mine function great and seem to be well made. I have no issues with them whatsoever. I can easily recommend them.

This tool is esentially an inexpensive, specially designed pair of pliers for inserting spring loaded 'Cleco' pins. Consequently they are practical and functionally more than adequate for that purpose. I like this tool because it is perfectly adequate for my purposes which are hobby orientated rather than for professional applications where I have neither the experience nor qualifications to comment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to any of my friends or collegues based cost, quality, ease of use and adequacy of purpose.

Sometimes tools become too sophisticated to use everyday or last the test of time. These are simple and work just like you would expect. They have a nice grip reach and hold the Cleco Pin Allstar Performance ALL18222 1/8" Diameter Cleco Pin, (Pack of 10) which I purchased with the pliers. I use them for 1/8" riveting and the system works great.

Great clamps for smaller pieces. Easier to apply than vise grips.

Not much to say about it....they’re pliers for clecos. They work exactly as they should.

Needed to use some cleco fasteners for an auto body project, picked up this tool for installing and removing them. Worked great.

These Cleco pliers are solidly built and work just fine for their purpose. I would recommend them to anyone planning to use Clecos.
