Acoustic Audio CS-IC83 in Ceiling 8" Speaker 2 Pair Pack 3 Way Home Theater 1400 Watt

I recently installed 4 of these speakers for a basement remodel project to provide some zoned audio. I was looking for a decent, inexpensive speaker. Well, I don’t know what voodoo this company has going on overseas with its supplier, but these speakers are amazing for the money and I’m flat out blown away they can produce them so inexpensively and sell them for the price offered. Typically when you get a speaker at this price point, it’s OK, but doesn’t sound great. Not these. They provide big bang for the buck! The bass is pretty deep for an 8 inch woofer and the sound balanced. And did I mention they scream? Really good efficiency here. Now, understand I NEVER write reviews, so for me to be sitting here at 1 in the morning on the bathroom floor of my almost-finished basement cranking these speakers and writing this review really says something. I’ve owned speakers from Klispch, BIC America, BOSE, Polk, Boston Acoustics and Infinity. And while I won’t sit here and tell you these are just as good as those, I can tell you they are pretty darn close but for a lot less money. I wish I would have roughed-in a few more. I’ll definitely be buying a set for our bedroom. Installation was similar to other in-ceilings I’ve installed, but the brackets were a little more finicky. I do wish they would include a grill-removal tool like some other brands I’ve bought. Thankfully I saved one from another set of speakers I own. Other than that, I’m in love with these things. I can’t speak to longevity, since they have only been installed a few days. But I’ll certainly update this review if anything comes up. Great job by the company who spec’d, manufactured and imported these. A true Diamond in the rough of foreign imports. Buy them, you won’t regret it. You can do much, much worse for a lot more money.

Best speaker by far. I bought 4 for a medspa. I installed them which took about 5 minutes per speaker, and couldn’t even turn the volume to half way without having to turn it down. It was that loud and the sound quality was perfect. I went back to check the price, thinking they entered it wrong cause of how cheap they were. Nope, that’s the price. I just bought 2 more to install on my patio at home. These speakers are WELL worth buying.

I added these to my home theater setup that has all high end Klipsh speakers and these sound great even at high volume. Definitely worth the money.

Absolutely a 5-star product! These speakers deliver incredible sound quality. I installed four in my family room ceiling, and they fill the space with clear, amazing audio. The sound quality is truly impressive!.

Nothing bad to say about these speakers. I'm not an audiophile so I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars per speaker. I have these in a basic 5.1 system and they perform quite well. So much better than my old soundbar. One improvement that would've been nice is a magnetic grille instead of the press fit one included. It was a bit of a PITA to get the grilles back in after mounting these.

Mounted it on my garage ceiling. After 2 months of regular use, there’s a hissing sound and sound quality is bad. I thought its an installation/connection problem. Tried the original speaker from the amplifier . sounds perfect and no hisses. Disappointing but out of the return window.

Installed four in ceiling of game room, connected to a Yamaha receiver delivering 115 watts RMS to each. Great quality, very loud. Room is 15 x 40 and these fill the room with awesome sound. You won’t find a better deal.

Haven’t even put sound to them. These are garbage. If you want to paint the speaker the grill system is the worst I’ve seen in speakers. Buy something else. I should just put them back in the box painted and return.

Put 4 speakers in family room hooked up to Yamaha receiver. Wife wanted me to get rid of my tower speakers. They sound great for the price. Great when watching movies

These things pound!! I used them in my vaulted ceiling 59’ x 30’ area they’re larger than I expected but all in all they work great!

These speakers are very good quality for the price. Would recommend.
