Good performance for the price
I bought these for my brother before a glacier hiking/ice climbing adventure in wet weather. It turns out, the guide shop we used stocks the very same pants for guests who don't bring their own, which is a pretty good endorsement. If you spend a lot of time doing sports in wet conditions, you probably want to get some fancier gortex pants, but these performed well, especially for the price. I ended up wearing a pair as well.Note: they are definitely not low-rise. There is plenty of space to pull them up around your ribs, if that's what you're into.

Low cost waterproof pants
These waterproof pants are pretty good for the price. I'd say they are meant for somewhat limited usage, such as dog walking, spectator sports, fishing, camping etc. I wouldn't wear these pants hiking, hunting or activities involving the idea of getting them snagged on brush or rocks etc. They do breathe ok, kind of a bummer without any pockets. A solid 7/10 in my books.

I wore these pants on a lightly rainy day, walking on sidewalks, walking in stores, riding on a bus, for about 4 hours. This material split and cracked in several places - with no more than ordinary walking and sitting in a bus seat. For my needs, this is a cheap, inferior piece of junk - Excuse - for a rain gear product.

Good for the Price
Yes the breathability is not great but then again you are paying $30 for what normally costs at least double that. I used these pants for a three week backcountry trek in Iceland and they got rained on ALOT. Everything from piddly drizzles to six hour monsoons. In that cooler climate I didn't sweat too much either. When the rain stopped, I was dry underneath and that's what matters. The fabric is a bit uncomfortable to wear directly on skin so I just pulled them over my lightweight tech pants. But they do what they say they'll do...keep the rain away. Now in the jungle, you will sweat to death in these but for hiking in moderate or cool climates these budget rainpants do the trick. Would recommend washing with NixWax waterproofing detergent before use.

Awesome Rain Pants For People Who Don't Like Those Oversized Yellow Rain Suits.
I put these rain pants to the test today. I work outside driving a lot on a lift and here lately we've been getting loads of rain. The suits they supply us with at work just dont cut it for me. The mustard yellow color is ridiculous and they only carry them in large so im always looking like a clown in them. So I decided to give these a try. I got them in small. Im only 5'6 with a waist of 29. At first they seemed a bit too long but once i put them on they fit better than expected. I guess you kind of want that extra length to cover your footwear too. The best part is that i no longer look like a midget in oversize clothing lol. Rodeo clown is what thwy would call me but not anymore! Anyway the quality is great and they fit great over pants. I never felt them overheat and its the beginning of june here in tx. So im pleased with these. Hope they last a while.

great pants, very effective at keeping water out
I use these for my 7 mile bike commute in Seattle. These are great pants, very waterproof, and they keep me dry and warm when riding in the winter. I bought these because my other waterproof pants would actually slowly let water through, especially when i sat on a wet seat. Not at all the case, these block 100% of water. I don't have any problems with breathability given it's usually cold when riding, and I wear them over long pants, but I could see how riding these in warm rainy weather could get swampy.the snaps on the bottom are handy to keep the bottoms tight and dry, I wear them over boots so I don't have any problems with water getting in at the bottom, even if I don't attach the snaps

Keeps me dry
Got this after a long and fruitless retail search. I needed something to keep me dry when walking my dog , and this does the trick. I can fit them over jeans when it’s cold or just wear over shorts when it warms up. The legs are large enough to fit over rain boots. I’m 5’9” and 174 and the medium fits fine.As others have mentioned, there are no pockets, just a minor inconvenience for me , but it would make this complete. Would have knocked off half a star for that if I could.

Great pants for ranch chores.
I have been wearing my first pair daily for winter ranch chores since last winter. These are great pants, washable or just rinse or shake them off. Very durable, waterproof, not too warm, I can wear shorts or leggings under them & stay clean while feeding sanctuary equines. I wanted a second pair to have if the first pair ever wears out.
