These fill the gap between high priced gauges and that great manifold that you keep on the truck but didn't want to replace the old analog gauges. These are the ones I grab for the quick checks or just a residential service. The accuracy is on par with higher price gauges, the rubber housings hold up well, and the controls are simple to master. The function well and are fast enough to see sudden changes. For the money it's hard to go wrong.

I haven’t used it enough to give it five stars. It matches pressures with my excellent old dial gauges from my younger tech days. bought it in retirement to keep up and check on various HVAC and refrigeration machines that I have. Seems to be a good quality and as easy to read.

Since mini splits only give you a single service port, no sense in having a 2-gauge set unless you're going to use it for something else. You could get an analog gauge cheaper, but this digital gauge lets you see smaller pressure drops when doing a leak test on linesets. It's important to note, though, that it only has 0.5 PSI resolution, but I think that's precise enough. The gauge came with batteries pre-installed and the fittings seem to be of good quality. One other note - you could get the blue low-pressure gauge for a mini split application, but this was the same price at the time so I figured I might as well get one that can handle higher pressure.

This little guy will read everything but vacuum. The only reason that I bought it was the fact that it was advertised as a vacuum gauge. As for now knowing.... it works great for achieving a proper Superheat.
