I installed this new, when I bought my Topens A8 single swing gate opener. Easy to install, has worked flawlessly for the past 5 years. Highly recommended.

I purchased this product over a year ago along with several other items from Topens. I installed it myself and the hardest part was digging the trenches for the wires. The gate opener worked perfectly for the past year, and I am extremely satisfied. After a year something went wrong and I contacted Emilia at Topens and even though the warranty expired the customer service I received was EXCELLENT! The problem was diagnosed, and I was sent step by step instructions for the repair. Everything is working perfectly again. The repair was completed easily.

I ordered this power supply for my Topens A3 Gate Opener. The power supply is an additional option and ordered separately. The opener will also use batteries, solar, etc but since I have power at my gate, this is the best option. Connection to the opener is pretty simple, but the opener control box comes with a power wire attached so you will have to remove that from the + - connections on the control box and connect the one from the power supply. The power supply wires have battery connections, so you will have to cut those off, strip and tin the wires so they will be stiff or you won't be able to get them into the power connection block on the control box. There was no mention of this in the installation instructions. You will need a small flat blade screwdriver.....the screws on the connection block are tiny. Double check to be sure you get the polarity correct. For the life of me I could not figure out how to mount the power supply box.....no tabs and apparently no way to open the box. Again, Zack at Topens Tech Support bailed me out and sent me a couple of pictures which are attached. Duh! Why didn't I see that?? Must be "Old Timers Disease". Anyway, happy with the supply and Topens support.

A FEW MONTHS AFTER INSTALLING THE AUTOMATIC GATE SYSTEM THE TRANSFORMER MALFUCTIONED AND THE REP NANCY WALKED ME THRU ON HOW TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM. ON A SATURDAY I EMAILED HER THAT THE PROBLEM WAS THE TRANSFORMER, AND MONDAY AFTERNOON A NEW PART ARRIVED. I CAN"T THANK NANCY AND THE COMPANY SHE WORKS FOR ENOUGHT FOR SUCH PROMP SERVICE ITS CONFORTING TO KNOW THERE ARE STILL COMPANYS THAT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, IF I EVER NEED ANOTHER GATE OPENER, I KNOW WHO TO GO TO ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP RAY GREGORY

This product worked great to convert my solar gate opener over to 110. Topens will help out with any issues through the process with need be. Ask for Heidi she was a big help getting my system fixed.

Seems like a great product, time will tell but so far I’m very satisfied with how it works and easy installation.

My power supply failed after 9 months due to water damage. I contacted Topens customer support and they responded within a day. They asked for some pictures of the water damage and within another day they shipped out a replacement power supply free of charge. They stand behind their products 100%. The new one is working great!

Product show up from amazon shortly after being ordered. Gate opener was easy to install. I ordered the 24V power supply instead of going with batteries. Also then ordered a Homelink adapter so I could open my yard gate with my Goldwing's homelink system. As others have said the only thing I'm not too sure about is how weatherproof the control box actual is,... time will tell, but based on the excellent customer service so far I can't see my self really having any regrets. (My email was replied to with 24hrs and I was asked to get back with any questions to which they try to answer within 24hrs. Very happy with this level of support. :) ) The 4 stars is only because the main control box could have been in a more suitable weather poof box and Its too soon to really know if this will be a issue. -jeff Kincardine Ontario
