Afeax Compatible with OEM Front Facing Camera Flex Cable with Sensor Proximity Light and Microphone Flex Cable Replacement for iPhone 6 Plus 5.5inch

My first attempt at repairing an Iphone which was a 6 Plus the glass screen had been broken for long time still usable. I bought a new LCD screen and it worked fine but the front facing camera didn't work, and I noticed the ribbon cables got hot. I looked online forums said to replace the cable and the front facing camera. After I replaced it the cables no longer got hot, and the front facing camera worked. Then after that the CPU started to get hot, or chip right below the cables. I checked for anything in the plugs nothing was in there Trying to troubleshoot eventually something burned out on the logic board maybe the CPU it would no longer turn on. I don't know why but it seemed like after I installed this new front facing camera it started to cause the chip to overheat. I can't prove what caused the problem since it no longer turns on. Sending the board out for repair is not cost effective the data was backed up in icloud. I returned the LCD and just going to buy a new Iphone. While these phones seem not to difficult to fix I would not try doing that again unless I had nothing invested in it.

After installing this the front facing camera does not work.since my friend needed the phone right away she has to live with that now.

It works, but the dust catcher in the ear is missing. I cu the one off my old OEM and it seems to be working fine.

This is a pretty good replacement for apple’s previous version. It doesn’t come with an instructions or anything though, so you will need to know what you are doing before you purchase this! Otherwise, it works great so far! I’ll update the review if anything changes!

this does not work on iphone6 plus !!!!!! i will be doing a refund and getting my money back

No adhesive on it so was really tricky to install. Once in it worked fine
