Not much to shout about, it's picture hanging wire! Having said that, it's a large spool with good quality wire and fixings. The vinyl coating makes it nicer to handle.

Needed this product to replace the wire in an outside sun canopy. Bit fiddly to take the old unit apart but this wire did exactly as I wanted and because its plastic coated it didn't fray when cut. An additional bonus is that it also doesn't kink either. The small aluminium crimps were easy to use and so far seem to be holding up when the canopy is opened. The wire is unlikely to fail and the only weak point is likely to be the loops which I made using the crimps however there is room to use a solderless nipple should this happen. Happy at just over £10 and delivered within two days

Ideal good quality

I bought this to use it for something that is not designed for. My garden trimmer kept annoying me as the line keep cutting frequently, so I thought may be a steel cable withstand hard object in the garden. The cable fitted the trimmer spool very well. Use wire cutter to cut to length and start action. It lasted longer than the plastic line, however it is also kept fraying and cutting out. If you are using this to hang picture you should be ok , it is sturdy and has a plastic film around it. If you are using it as I did you do this at your own risk as it has the potential to cause you serious injury.

Using for hanging a chandelier. Very strong. BUT had to buy a very robust pair of side-cutting pliers as none of my others were any good at all. And you need a mole wrench to crimp the connectors.

We received the wire and the 20 aluminium pieces usually included were missing. They sent us in one day only the missing part plus a new roll of wire. Great customer service, great product!!!! Stylish and resistant at the same time. I love my paintings and pictures hanging with it from the rail on the wall. Strongly recommended!!

Difficult to get a strong connection without slippage. They do not include enough fastening clips. A little disappointed with purchase.
