Magnetic Head Drum Key

Hard to say what the best drum key is really. But this is just awesome because of the magnet, the shape, and mostly the knurled top. You can easily get tension rods "finger tight" holding the key there. They spin nicely. I mean I have another key that does one thing better, like spinning. nd another that's good for tight spots. Another that's good for high tension. Another that sits on a drum silently, ready to go. But this key does all of those things almost as good, if not better than all of them in every category. If that makes sense. It's just a great overall drum key. I bought two more since the first one I got.

No Dislikes. Perfect size not too small and not too big like the magnetic Remo drum key. The nubs at the top allow for perfectly even finger tight. I also found since the keys are so easy to grip I was able to get much more even movements when doing two key tuning. NOTE ABOUT MAGNETIC: I was reluctant to get these keys in the past simply because they were magnetic and that would make it more difficult to take the keys off each lug when trying to quickly get to my next tension rod pair. I was wrong it is the perfect amount of grip to avoid falling when quickly spinning from the nubs to release the rim and replace heads, but still be easy to pull of each tension rod.

I bought it for my drum throne. I just stick it on the nut on the leg to adjust the seat height and leave the key attached to it, holds it in place. It's not ideal for short screws on my Roland V-drums, but normal acoustic drum kit I think would hold firm. I can still turn the V drum screws, but they are too shallow to get a full grap on it.

This is the best drum key I’ve ever used. I love that it’s magnetic and the ergonomic handle makes a difference, too. I would definitely buy another one if I lost mine.

very good key... I have had 2 of them. the first thing is that for some reason some hoops and lug designs DON'T agree with this key too much... on my previous kit a Yama maple Custom it work d great... my new kit an Allegra, this key has trouble fitting. Also keep in mind the magnetic aspect of this key is cool, but if you, tend to tune and fine tune with one hand and the key still in hand, it can become awkward. Also this key is a heck of a lot heavier than most others, so if it drops, ne careful it can seriously dent, something... and even hurt you. besides that, excellent torque and precision.

Having gotten sick of the terrible drum keys I had been using for years, I stumbled upon this one at a store and decided to pick it up to try. It turns out that this drum key is amazing. It has a great weight, it sticks well to the lugs, and it is the topper so you can spin loose lugs quickly. I had to get a second one afterwards. People are made that it rattles, but the solution to that is simple, don't leave it on the drum. Of course it should not advertise it as such, but this key is still fantastic otherwise.

Great comfort and precision for tunning. The textured top is great to set the lugs to a hand tight adjustment. The magnet is great for tunning over the kit and prevent it from falling and chipping your shells

Awesome product. At such low cost such great product. Did the work well for me. But the product came is a very old dusted cover . But the product inside was brand new and shiny

I received an electric drum set from a friend that didn't come with a drum key. I bought a different brand first, but it didn't fit to be able to tighten the screws, but this one fits perfectly.
