I'm a repeat customer of this product. I've tried a few different shapewear, mostly shaper shorts like these and I will only buy these bcuz they are so perfect! There is no silicone on the legs so that makes them super comfortable, yet they don't roll up at all, ever. The top did have silicone which helps it stay in place as you move around during the day. I personally do not use the open crotch when using the bathroom as I find it easier to just pull them down. I wear skirts and dresses very often and I swear by these as they make everything look smooth and no panty lines. Perfect solution for those the who hate wearing thong shapers or shapers that don't go so the way up to the bust line which is another thing I hate about shapers. The ones that don't go all the way up leave you with rolls under your clothes that these do not. They are also wonderful to prevent chafing as the legs go just above the knee. These shorts are also well made. I wear mine at least once a week each pair and I finally ordered new ones after 4 years but still using the old ones with a hole in them since they still get the job done. Anxiously a 5 out of 5 everyday of the week!

I ordered a Medium. My measurements are: height 5’1, chest 34, waist 30, hips 44. I feel like it’s pretty TTS, because it’s shapewear, not casual wear. These are HARD to get on!! Like I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to get them off, but they actually come off super easy compared to getting them up haha. The material is SO soft and comfy!!! It holds you in pretty well for the type of material. I LOVE the look & feel of these shorts, the waist band is thick, soft, & has a grippy back strip to assure it stays in place. The legs are very long, but seamless, so you could easily cut them shorter if you need to. It smoothed everything so nicely. The OPENING. I didn’t expect to love it, but I did!!! It actually sits far enough forward and back that if you hold it open while squatting, there should be no material getting in the mix of bathroom visits!! That actually excited me because I would hate having to take these on and off to pee lol. BUT 😩 — the material of my dress was sticking with the material of the shorts, causing the internal pocket to show very obviously, instead of helping it lay flat. Also, it didn’t seem to matter how much I adjusted the shorts on my hips, there was always one side that looked insanely different than the other hip, unsettling almost - though only when the dress was on. But I can’t take my chances on the huge visual difference. Sadly, I will be returning them for those two reasons.

After reading reviews, I decided to order according to my actual measurements 44bust, 37waist, 45hips, 36i bra. Garment was no challenge to put on. Although it smoothed the crease at my waistline into a curve, it really didn't perform any cinching at all. The top elastic that hugged my ribs was snug without uncomfortable punching & I think the silicone grip strip on inside surface would help keep it from sliding down after several hours of wear, but the torso portion, waist, hips, butt, and thigh portions wasn't snug enough to hold me in to more easily fit into any clothing that I've almost outgrown. I have the Maidenform bodysuit with built-in push-up bra cups & convertible/strapless options. That garment has plastic boning in front & on sides, which is extremely effective for shaping and cinching. Because the photo of these bottoms showed contrasting vertical bands in front like my bodysuit of same brand, I thought that this part on the bottoms would have boning as well (on other garment the contrasting bands are the fabric channels that hold the front boning). Alas, I was mistaken and disappointed. I'm not sure whether sizing down would offer more firm control. I think I'll just stick with another bodysuit I have (underbust style) that's made with the very effective crisscrossing, extra layer of powernet in front and back of the torso. My legs/thighs are pretty muscular and don't need shapewear, so I don't want to bother with trying a smaller size of these control pants if the midriff portion isn't going to do it's job. I'll mention also that on this item, the extra layer of power net for "control" is only in the front... the front, which is phone to the back, which is only a single layer. I don't see how the garment designer would expect a cinching or tummy flattening effect when there is not a balance between the front and back fabric tension. It certainly doesn't help control any back fat between bra band and waistline. The maker's control cami that is reinforced in the front and back and long enough to pull down over my hips. In the same size, Large, it does a much better job than these control bottoms.

I have bought this particular piece of shape wear 4 times now, and I will continue to by this particular item in the future as it is my favorite. Looking for a snatched waist? Look no further! Honestly, I couldn't believe how much it slimmed and defined my waist. The first pair I bought, my roommate and I were in disbelief. We'd both had many pairs of 'Spanx' in our day, but this pair was just different. I will admit, I'm a natural hourglass shape, and carry weight in my bum and thighs. This slimmer just gives me that extra confidence when wearing formed fitted dresses and my work uniform- which happens to be a dress. It saves my thighs from chafing, smooths me out nicely, and makes my waist smaller- so a total dream for me. It's comfortable to me- holds me in, but I can breathe and move around very easily. It's lightweight & breathable. I am used to wearing shapewear, and used to wearing it for long working days. Most of the time, I don't even realize I'm wearing it. It's easy to put on and take off, which you'll have to do when using the bathroom as there's no opening in the crotch area (if that matters to you- it doesn't to me.) I wear it over pantyhose most days- and it stays put, no slipping or sliding. I love wearing it, because I feel like it helps me have better posture when standing or sitting down. I also feel like it is high quality and lasts me a long while. I have multiples as I wear them a lot- and have found that after about a year and a half I will develop a small hole in the "power mesh lining"- basically because of where my fingers grab the garment when putting it on. Overall- it's a great piece of shapewear, and if you want to look smooth and snatched with tummy control while being comfortable, this is the piece for you!

Ok first off Im 5'2" 220lbs so yeah I'm a little juicy. 43-39-50 are my measurements. I just want to say that these are absolutely amazing!!! This shapes me so well and smooths me out. It's a firm hold along with butter soft fabric for the leg area. These are almost as good as my previous maiden shapewear. It's comfortable, breathable, elastic and fits perfectly. This has given me my confidence back after gaining 50 to 60 pounds postpartum. These are indeed tough to get on but once they are on you will see that it is well worth the struggle. It does come with an opening in between the legs. I don't recommend trying to freely aim. I would definitely buy the little spout to place in the slit to relieve yourself. I purchased the black and tan and will definitely be purchasing more of these. I am still amazed at how well it smooth me out. It does have silicone strips but they still roll down a tad but nothing that can't be fixed. The legs are not hemmed so you can shorten them if you would like. They come right above my knee but take in consideration I am short. I will update with pictures soon.

I love maidenform usually but this was awful. I wore it for 4 hours just to see how it did before wearing it under a dress for a wedding and in that time the shorts part were visible from the beginning under the legs of my pantsuit and kept rolling up. I kept having to pull them down which is annoying. The body piece does nothing. The most it does is keep any rolls from being obvious but even that wasn't worth it because it still rolled down. The back rolled so far down I was basically just wearing high waisted underwear and the top just kept rolling constantly so I had to fix it repeatedly making it not only obvious I was wearing something because you could see it under my clothes but because I kept pulling it up. Nothing about this is worth ever wearing again. I am 5'6" 165 and got this just so I could feel better in this dress after having had a baby. 100% don't recommend.

I’m a Shape-wear newbie. Size small was impossible to get on. I tried size medium and it worked. So size up if you don’t want to dislocate your shoulder pulling it on. I’m 115 lbs. The compression and part above my waist going up to bra line helped smooth out my waist under a dress, so I don’t have panty digging into my waist creating a bump. I’m picky about undergarments that create unsightly bulges where they don’t really exist, so I guess this compression panty/contraption does the job mostly. Made a slight squeezey bulge under my arms, but not too bad and can’t be seen with the form-fitting summer dress I’m going to wear this with. I hope to use it for some other outfits in the future. Once on it was comfortable. I’m just amazed I could pull the darn thing on. Great design with a large space for using the toilet (at least for #1). Excellent customer service from seller and fast shipping.

In fairness, it gave me confidence to wear a summer dress in public.

I was surprised by how light this shapewear is and yet it is quite supportive in the tummy area where I need it most. The leg portion is wide enough that it does not bind and there is rubber at the top of the band which tends to keep it in place most of the time. Have worn it all day since it arrived and have felt no discomfort. The waistband could have come up higher as I am long in the torso. Otherwise, quite pleased with this purchase.

This thing came with a hole in it! Material is too thin, do not recommend it.
