Love at first site!
My tree baby arrived a day early, lush, green, and healthy😃! It was well packed and protected in a sturdy cardboard tube. It’s only been 4 days but it appears to be thriving, all the little branches have spread out and standing tall at 2 inches as if it were 300 feet tall. The instructions provided are clear and concise, explaining its history, planting tips, weather advice and planting in a permanent location. I’m so in awe of this little tree, I’m babying it like a puppy 😂. Like one owner said, “I’m attached to this little guy” It’s love at first site🥰! Kudos to Jonsteen Company for answering my question,” How can you determine if the tree is a male or female?” They said the Giant Sequoia is monoecious, producing male and female cones. The are both male and female😃! One more thing to love about these amazing trees! This will make it easy to name my tree😂

Happy Sequoia Tree
Got my little guy in, was so excited. Perfectly shipped, soil moist, good root system, was smaller than I had envisioned but a healthy plant. Now if I can do my part. Wish me luck. Have him potted, mulched and in a 5 gallon bucket with drainage so plenty of room to grow till I figure perfect spot.

Maybe a more Established lil bubs might be a better route.. hmmm
Grant didn't make it through the summer unfortunately. We have big plans to incorporate Giant Sequoias into the landscaping here at our cemetery and if we can get one established here then we could plant one at each of our partnering cemeteries, we manage and care for. I followed the care instructions to the T. I don't want to post a picture of him all dead so, Here's a lil vid of Grant freshly planted in a cedar box we made him taken after his first watering. Blessings lil dude! Stand Tall Up There!! GREAT Quality, Majestic In Everyway, Dark green foliage fresh out the package. This is not a bad review just a heads up on my experience.

Excellent condition. Calmed my fear of ordering from online/another state nursery. 2019.
I will say that I was a bit nervous about ordering from a nursery that I couldn't physically walk myself. The reviews of others persuaded me too oder. I am glad I did. I ordered a Japanese Black Pine (Pinus thunbergii) and a Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) Both appear to be in excellent health and were labeled. The root ball of both plants were still moist when I opened the package. No browning of the foliage what so ever. I potted them right away and so we will see what they become in the future. The plants did arrive together in the same package but wrapped seperatly. They also arrived 13 days sooner than expected which I am grateful for because I was worried about them not being watered or potted for so long. They came from California and I am in New Mexico if that helps. They were sent with a little sheet that says how to pot them and what to do afterwards. Basic care kind of thing. On the other side was a few Bonsai designs and definitions for those who are using them for this purpose. The paper also stated that the seedlings are 1-2 years of age. I did tie sewing string very lightly around the black pine to get it to stand erect. So far I am happy with both trees. I do believe I will be ordering from this nursery in the future provided that the trees don't turn out diseased. I don't think that they will. Again they look wonderful.

Trees are still alive.
I desired to plant carbon catching trees and these baby sequoias have much potential.

Poor customer service
1 star for many reasons. First was the wait, then finally shipped and wasn't their fault but took much longer to receive. Looked decent when arrived and followed their instructions but didn't last a month. I messaged the seller and their response was to send me care tips. Don't waste your money and the shipping I paid should have been received much quicker and better condition. Very disappointed

Very very good.
I have bought like 3 of these. One of them showed up dead and they sent me another one for free. The other ones are thriving well and one of them made it through a Boise Idaho winter. They grow fast and they look beautiful. I want to buy more when I have the room. Gonna planet these everywhere for the rest of my life
