Anthony Instant Fix Oil Control for Men – Mattifying Lotion for Oily Skin – Moisturizer and Pore Minimizer Instantly Eliminates Shine – 3 Fl Oz

Female 42yo, oily skin This really works, hands down. Tube was small so I was unsure at first but now this is a must in my daily morning skin care routine. You don’t need much either, pea size goes a long way. I’ve mainly been using a La Roche-Posay routine but was still oily in the afternoon and had to use oil wipes, but with this Anthony product I don’t have to. No complaints here.

Got to replace Clinique Mattifying Moisturizer. Not only does this do a better job of reducing oil and moisturizing for less money, it actually clears up my eczema entirely, something that five different prescription medicines couldn't do. Definitely give a try if you have eczema and oily skin.

I have very oily skin and have tried various different products to keep it oil-free. So far this product seems to have worked the best. It does keep my skin oil-free for a few hours definitely (I would say max 3 hours). After that, the oil does return but in less quantity. And if I just rinse off my face after that, it almost feels like the water reactivates the product and it'll start working again, for a lesser time of course. One thing I've noticed with all oil-inhibitor products is that I usually get some milia breakouts. With Anthony Logictics, I do get some but not as much as the Origin products that I used before. Overall, it's decent product that has given satisfactory results and I'll probably keep using it. Just wish it was cheaper! Update 12/8/14: Ok, initially I was using this as my oil control solution and moisturizer and it was working reasonable well. For the past few months, I decided to test its effectiveness when combined with a separate moisturizer. I started first using Oil of Olay Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 15 and then SPF 20. My face felt heavy and greasy all day. So now I've gone back to just using Anthony Logistics. And it works much better. I can't guarantee everyone will have the same results, but for me, just using Anthony Logistics on its own as the oil control/moisturizer solution, is best.

Anthony skin care is the best I have found, specifically for men. This product, in particular, not only hydrates the skin but also leaves it with a matte finish, reducing any shine immediately. It controls oily skin on my face and even tightens fine lines. The size is also generous and worth the price. In addition, it has a pleasant odor that can be hard to find when searching for oil-controlling lotions.

The description of this product is a bit contradictory. It says it's an instant fix, but it's supposed to keep shine at bay all day. My experience is that my t-zone will stay matte and dry for about an hour, then I have to wipe away the shine. I have to continue wiping away excess oil every 1-2 hours for the entire day. Maybe the idea is that you continue to use the product throughout the day, but that just isn't possible or reasonable. For the price, it should keep the oil at bay for longer than an hour. Maybe it would work better for a milder case.

Update - Ordered it three additional times. Received the wrong product each time. The outer bag is marked with the oil fix lotion, but when you open it, it's after shave balm. Clearly, an entire lot of these were mispackaged. I reported it to Amazon customer support and lo and behold...they again shipped me the wrong product. Not sure why they can't pull these from the shelf and address this, but apparently it can't be done. I like this product. Started using it when Kiehls discontinued their oil control formula. Works well, takes away shine and moisturizes skin. However, the last two times I've ordered it, they've sent me the wrong product. I keep receiving after shave balm. The second time, it was even in a manufacturer envelope, marked as the correct product, but still had after shave balm inside. Disappointing.

Leave face feeling smooth and not oily.

ANTHONY INSTANT OIL FIX does what it says it will!! I'm 72 & have tried A Lot of other products that promise to remove shine. They have All Failed. Perhaps one reason that Anthony Instant Oil Fix does stop the shine is that it's made for Men. Products designed for women usually combine concealer/primer & include silicone. Silicone ends up leaving tiny balls of excess product on my face. I also like Anthony's Light fresh, lemony fragrance when I apply it. At only $10 an ounce for a 3 0z. tube it's a good value price wise. Especially since it Lasts so long! I use it once a day Every day. I rec'd mine on the 8th of Dec. 2019 and as the 22nd of Feb. 2021 that tube has not run out!! [Those dates are not typos!]. Btw, because I have a couple of red spots on my nose I've begun mixing in a tiny amt. of a foundation (w/added benefit of sunscreen) but this has Not diminished Anthony's effectiveness whatsoever. Obviously I highly recommend this product!

This product is such a disappointment. It doesn't do anything. Nothing at all. It's a complete waste of money. For ages now, I've been looking for a product to replace the (sadly) discontinued GOATs, that are Lab Series Power Pore Anti-shine & Treatment, and Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel. Unfortunately, this product isn't at all comparable, and shouldn't be bought by anyone.
