3 BOXES IN LOT- LONG 11" MATCHES 40 IN BOX FIREPLACE GRILL BBQ CANDLE CAMPING Review: Reliable and sturdy - Remember those good old "Strike Anywhere" wooden matches (made by Diamond) ? They really were true to their logo -- my friends and I used to light 'em off by striking them on the front fly zipper of our Levis w/out the match head flying off or the wooden stick breaking. They used to be reliably good fire-starters whether indoors or camping; no need to carry around the box they came in in order to have an effective striking surface, no worries about the slightest breeze or puff of air immediately blowing them out, or having the match-stick itself reduced to a size that's so fragile it's more likely to snap in half than ignite. Those days are long gone, friends, and I'm afraid they aren't returning. These "Quality Home Long Wooden Fireplace Matches" are what you need, even if you're not outside in the elements. No, they're not "strike anywhere", but neither are the 'Diamond' brand (which still makes that claim! ). These fireplace matches give you a good hot blast when ignited, they're sturdy, and long enough to allow time to poke around and ignite your tinder in multiple spots w/no burned fingers. And the un-burned remnants can be added to your tinder stash for starting the next fire. Yes, I'm aware of butane lighters and Bic lighters, but I prefer these. Review: Great matches - Excellent quality

Nice
Really nice long matches. Good to light a fire in a fireplace or candles.

Be careful - sticks are long and convenient for fire lighting but they can break easily while using.
Love these matches - but be careful -once lit they sometimes break somewhere on that long match stick and it could be a fire hazard.

Great matches, great price.
Great matches for the price. Nice long length, they are perfect for lighting campfires or the woodstove. Pretty easy to light, decent burn time. I would buy these again.

They do work
They work. I’ll give them that. They aren’t a great quality, more like a dollar store version of grill matches. They come in a box like all the others but it’s a cheap cardboard and the strike part is lacking. Think of those really cheap book of matches that u try to strike on repeatedly before it actually lites the match? Yep that kind of strike patch. Beside that they are long enough to light my grill but the wood they are made from is soft and they break easy. So be careful when striking. I can’t beat the price for this many though so I def will give a 3 star. They do mostly work and as long as ur careful and don’t break them, but they aren’t 4-5 star worthy. I will buy the diamond brand next time from my dollar store cause they have a better strike pattern spot and they are made of harder wood. But I do like that inside the box the tips are covered in a plastic piece so when it rained outside and the box got soaked, the matches were protected by the inner plastic wrapped around them. So that’s a win. All in all they work and are decent enough for the price

As much as I appreciate the long stick matches, I will not reorder unless there is free shipping…
