I received two just like the listing said, thank you Amazon! It worked perfectly on the Nvidia Tesla P100 in a Supermicro 1U Server. I could not get this thing to work but then purchased this cable and the system came right up and the card was identified!

I picked up the Tesla K80 version, just want I needed because other cables off my PSU would not quite fit. The standard 6+2 PCIe connector has an off-center latch that won't fit the K80, and another cable I found has two pin bodies with an extra wall between that, or others have the +2 pins flipped around. This worked! A bit pricey for what you get, though.

Used this to provide power for my K80. It works, so no complaints.

It boggles my mind that we have standards FOR A REASON. Yet, Nvidia thought it would be smart to put an 8-pin connector on a GPU that DOES NOT USE THE STANDARD PCI-e 8 PIN CONNECTOR. Oh no! It uses.... the 8-pin CPU connector. Why Nvidia? Why? This adapter will convert the 8 PIN CPU connector to 2x 8 PIN PCI-e connectors. Why Nvidia?

We need to keep some Kepler cards around for regression testing (K20, K40, K80). Our old servers had aged out so I was able to plug these into a modern server to provide power to these cards and continue testing.
