Incredibly delicious
These are incredibly delicious. There is a sweet hard coating covering a chewy flavorful licorice. There are only approximately 10 in each tin. They are largish but too few for the price. Save for a special treat!I am not saying they are not worth the price, simply they are expensive. They are good quality and delicious.

Stale and Old Candies! Scam!
I know these candies very well, I get them from my family in Italy all the time. I was exited to see them on here and they very absolutely stale and old. Hazards as a rock even the inside which is supposed to be chewy…such a disappointment and scam!

Very cute, but…
The 10 is about the size of an Altoid tin. The licorice inside is shaped like river rocks, so they are fairly large pieces. I received a total of 11 pieces of candy each approximately 3/4 of an inch long. There was a fair amount of sugar coating on the outside with licorice inside it was not as strong as I’ve come to expect from this brand. They are very cute, but will not be purchased again for me because I like a very strong licorice taste. My son loves them as he is not a strong liquorice flavor fan.

the best Italian "liquirizia" you can buy away from Italy...
I grew up in Italy going to the "tabaccheria" (cigarette store) where they would sell these liquorice tin boxes, I remember I used to pay about 50 liras at that time... the company is more than 50 years old and now that I moved in USA i stumbled in them and started to order them online... they taste just like when I was 10 year sold.... EXCELLENT product if you look for 100% pure liquorice with NO SUGAR added (beside for some variations like the Bianconeri and sassolini were they are coated in white sugar coating).

These rocks rock!
Only for those of us who are serious natural black licorice/anise fans and do not like a lot of sugar. I'm fairly certain that these are the world's the most artistic and most intensely flavored pastilles. They look exactly like colorful rocks (all slightly different), and they're definitely a licorice/anise fest. Not for the feint of heart (or, unfortunately, of pocketbook).

Nice but not special
These licorice candies are like large good and plenty candies, though not quite as sweet. They are large, so not many fill this small tin so they are quite expensive. The licorice flavor is from anise, not licorice root (less authentic flavor). I love all licorice, but I would not recommend this item because it is quite expensive and is not as special as it should be for the price.

Tasty stuff
These are tasty. The candy has a hard shell, but the inside is like a marble sized ju-ju bee flavored with licorice and anise. The only down side is you get 14 of these candy "pebbles" per tin, which calculates to over .60 a pop. I think they're worth it, but don't show the kids where you keep them. Also, if you like licorice flavored with anise, try the blue tin with the joker on it.
