90° Degree Double Right Angle Clamp Desmond Arca Compatible ideal for Panorama Panoramic D290

Where has this thing been all my life!? This is a unique and versatile clamp. I'm using it to clamp a vertical rail on my panorama rig. It has solved a height problem that prevented me from getting the zenith shot. Problem solve. Now looking for other uses for this clamp. I'm thinking that 4 of these clamps and some rails would make a pretty nice camera cage. It seems to be well made and precise. The indexing on both clamps is accurate. My only complaint is that the jaws should open a few more millimeters. It's kinda tight to install the rails. That's not a biggy though, just a little annoying. No indication of country of origin. I'm assuming China. If it is, they are doing a first class job. I'll be taking a closer look at other Desmond products.

I used this to connect 2 rails in a project that I could not find otherwise. Good fit. Clamps well.

Great problem solver. Well designed and engineered. Perhaps a bit overdimensioned, a tad on the heavy side. For the price it's easily a five-star product.My use cases include vertical for pano stitches, and using a Movo 400 gimbal adapter on a platform where the clamp cannot be vertical (Rainier Burzynski's massive ball head).

A really useful gizmo that doesn't have equivalents from the big guys like RRS. Quality was good to very good - certainly more than I'd expect for the price.

I use this in conjunction with 2 Arca rails to create a vertical rig on a tripod for macro shots. Excellent construction. Clamp is strong, smooth and precise.

This feels like a good quality product and has good balance between strength and weight. The knobs turn smoothly and the it is machined well.

This was great until the thread stripped on one of the rotors for one of the clamps. Now, I have to anchor it using a bushing and a screw, not so fun or easy to change in the field. But it is apparently the only thing like it on Amazon, so there you go.

A must have for DIY panoramic setup.Offers plenty of contact surface when used with a nodal plate, so rigidity is not an issue.
