This microscope is truly outstanding. I bought it for inspection work and biological analysis, for which it is perfect and clear with an easy to use high zoom rate. The unit is extremely easy to use and apply both at home and in the field, it’s portable and can be used by anyone at any skill level. At home, my wife enjoys using it for her arts and crafts inspections of gemstones and crystals, and what is always fun to use it on weekends with the kids in the garden to look at water samples and biological material, leaves, sand, etc. It truly is an all round product which is as good for professional work, classroom work, to hobby work. I particularly like the smartphone adaptor clip which is included in the package free of charge, it fits my iphone as well as my son’s android, and I’m sure it will fit any other smartphone type device in the market. The clip/adapter is easy to fit and extremely easy to centre. It allows me to take pictures of my work, but also add additional zoom via the phone lens! I enjoy uploading my images to various social media, and I can easily share my research in the field with colleagues in the office by emailing pictures directly from my smartphone. Without hesitation, best value for money microscope in the market, and highly recommended.

Fairly straightforward when you know how to use it, however the clip isn't too stable and likes to swing my phone around. A child would definitely have trouble using this. I bought it for arachnid identification in the field, however it magnifies too greatly for this so is better for those wishing to look up close at microscopic structures. I have attached pics of an up close table, white paper and coloured paper to allow you to observe some potential results.

I honestly could have added a thousand photos. My daughter (8) got one for Christmas from my in laws, on my recommendation. I’d been looking at various ones for ages as they looked good but wasn’t sure if it was all just a hype. They are amazing!! So much so that I bought myself one as well on Boxing Day 😂 We love them, we spend loads of time looking at slides and the carpet and clothes and skin and rocks and just about anything! The pictures on my phone aren’t as good as looking with your eyes but even then, they are pretty awesome quality. It’s a faff adding your phone but so worth it (comes with a clip) and once you get used to it, it gets easier. It’s amazing how zoomed in they go, you can see so much. I would say don’t bother wasting your money on slides. They aren’t worth it and this is fab for looking at everything already around you!! 100% recommend! Well worth the money.

Far better than I was expecting for the price! Very easy to set up and start viewing things in close up immediately. Bought for my 11 year old daughter, but not just got kids - I had great fun with this myself! Can be taken anywhere and is genuinely useful. I will be getting more of these for other kids in the family.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Not easy to use. The quality in the right conditions can be good however one sudden movement and you’ve lost focus completely. It’s hard to get down low enough to put your eye up to the lens to see the results, especially for the children. The phone adapter is also outdated, only being good for older models of phones. I ended up buying a different microscope as this wasn’t fit for purpose.

Both my girls have enjoyed using this. The build quality is great, it feels solid and the operation is smooth. Once I'd educated the kids in how to use it properly, they had loads of fun looking at anything they could find. We bought this alongside a table microscope 🔬 and they don't bother with that one. This one does the job. It's easy and fun to use.

Functionly it us easy to use, but need patience to find the sweet spot as small window. Once set it is great and very powerful. This was a purchase to use for a starting interest in science. At the price tag and capability it is a great purchase. We used solo and with premade slides and has kept interest of young ones. The camera attachment helps a lot at seeing but again need to find the sweet spot then its fine. I found using a single lense phone was easier than a multi lens due to the frame making the clamp wobble. It would have been nice if it came with a battery and a little material bag just to get started.

Hours of fun for any enthusiast. This gets kid involved in understanding and seeing the microscopic world. You can just point it to anything small and focus and get mesmerized in the beautiful world of tiny details. One important point to note is the user need both hands to operate the device but then you should be able to close one eye without using any hand to do that. That can be a deal breaker for kids who cant close one eye without using hands and have less attention time as this does take sturdy hands and 5-10 sec worth of effort to focus.

Handig. Het is even zoeken hoe het werkt maar zodra je het door hebt dan is het best leuk. Leuk dat je ook mobiel camera kunt gebruiken zodat je het samen kunt bekijken.

I bought is for my 4 year old kid as she wanted to know how germs and cells look like and this product has not disappointed me at all. Although small in size it does the job very well. The clarity of focus is great and the mobile clip is an added advantage. You can further enhance the zoom with your mobile phone camera. Although it just comes with one base slide and I am still trying to figure out the use of UV light in it you can clearly see stands cells blood cells and onion peel cells.

Pierwszy raz miałem do czynienia z mikroskopem kieszonkowym, a kupiłem go z zamiarem obserwacji roślin i owadów, jednak tego typu urządzenia okazują się zupełnie do tego nie nadawać. Jego przeznaczeniem jest oglądanie rzeczy nieruchomych na płaskiej powierzchni, natomiast próba dostrzeżenia, co to za maleńka kropka pełza po liściu, zakończyła się srogą porażką. Trzymanie mikroskopu w dłoni sprawia, że obraz ciągle drży, a zanim dostroimy ostrość, zgubimy obiekt naszych poszukiwań. Na plus należy zaliczyć klips do telefonu - działa to poprawnie, a patrzenie na ekran jest o wiele wygodniejsze niż wlepianie jednego oka w okular.

Vous voulez vraiment surprendre votre enfant avec un super cadeau le voici ! [l'appareil et ses fonctions] Une sorte de petit tube assez compact. Il a un œilleton (il faut bien se centrer pour voir qlqchose) sur lequel on peut ajouter une pince pour y mettre la caméra d'un smartphone (ça tient pas trop mal) ce qui permet d'y voir bien mieux (et de faire des photos / vidéos). on peut choisir le facteur de zoom qui est plutôt impressionnant étant donné la taille de l'engin. On dispose aussi d'une lumière très utile pour éclairer le sujet, et d'un système porte échantillon ainsi qu'une source lumineuse UV. Enfin la bague de mise au point est assez précise, mais sachez que la profondeur de champ est extrêmement petite donc il faut un peu de patience pour avoir le sujet net au début, surtout si celui ci a de forts reliefs. [le rendu] Etant donné le prix et la taille je ne m'attendais pas à plus qu'une loupe. Et bien non ! on a un rendu qui nous propulse dans le monde de microscopique. Si on le pointe sur un insecte vivant, c'est juste hallucinant ! l'avantage par rapport à un appareil de labo c'est qu'on peut le braquer où on veut ! La qualité en soit est plutôt médiocre dans l'absolu, mais étant donné le prix c'est simplement fabuleux ! [l'émerveillement des enfants] Dernier point important : l'effet sur les enfants. Mon fils a été vraiment impressionné par la puissance de ce mini microscope ! Une fois en main, il cherchais à tout observer avec. Nous avons acheté des lamelles en verre depuis pour voir certaines choses plus facilement (mais ce n'est pas indispensable, d'ailleurs une lamelle en plastique est fournie dans la boite. La possibilité de regarder grâce à la caméra d'un smartphone est sympathique car on peut observer à plusieurs en même temps et sans galérer avec le viseur qui est très étroit (si on n'est pas dans l'axe on voit plus rien, c'est plutôt énervant). J'aurais même bien aimé que le support du smartphone soit plus solide et directement intégré à l'appareil plutôt qu'une pince qui se clipse dessus.
