Really happy with this sandwich maker! It’s very easy to use and heats up fast. I’ve been using it almost every day and it makes great sandwiches in just a few minutes. Super convenient and easy to clean.

Works amazing , small a does not take a lot of counter space . Very well put together , light but seems very durable . I’ve made sandwiches , flat bread , quesadillas definitely can use it for many different things ! Must buy !

I've had this sandwich maker for a couple of weeks. Overall, for the price point, it's more than adequate. I've only made grilled cheese sandwiches with it, two at a time. I have buttered the cooking sides of the bread (Sara Lee Butter Bread), and have used two slices of cheese on each sandwich I've made. If you're careful to center the cheese on the bread, you will get no ooze, or only minor ooze, in one corner or the other. The heating plates clean up easily with just a paper towel, and any ooze you may get slides right off when the heating surfaces are cool. There's a green light that goes off after the heating cycle is done, but I've always had to leave my sandwiches in a bit longer for them to be nice and toasty. No problem with that for me, since it still only takes a few minutes to cook. When you push down on the lid for cooking, you have to exert some pressure. When you remove your sandwiches, they will be paper thin. This isn't suitable for a lot of people, but I'm not that picky. The sandwiches are scored down the middle by the cooking plates, but you'll still have to cut them with a knife after removing if you want individual halves. There is no on/off switch. Insert your sandwiches before plugging in, then unplug before sandwich removal. The amber light on top of the cooker will be illuminated when plugged in. The sandwich maker looks nice, and only takes up a small space on the countertop in my travel trailer. We will see how long it lasts, but if I get a year out of it, I feel like it has more than paid for itself. So far, I'm happy I bought it. It cooks a lot faster and more thoroughly than the toaster oven I was previously using, and takes up MUCH less counter space.

This is the second one I’ve gotten… my college daughter stole my other one :) I love the way it seals the bread around the sandwich. For example, if you do a grilled cheese it seals the cheese in the middle unless you really load it up!! Then it will oooze out around the sandwich and is still yummy

The Oventen Electric Sandwich Maker is excellent. It heats up very well and leaves the bread perfectly golden without burning it. The sandwiches come out crispy on the outside and well cooked on the inside. It also has an indicator light that lets you know when the sandwich is ready, which is very convenient and helps prevent overcooking. It’s easy to use and perfect for everyday use. I definitely recommend it for making quick and delicious sandwiches at home.

I LOVE this item. I am sooooo happy I bought it. It heats up quickly amd makes perfect sandwiches. The machine is not too heavy. I feel the cord is a pretty good length. It's stable on the counter top and the quality makes me feel like I will have this sandwiche maker for a long time.

I have had this sandwich maker for a few days so my review is for its functionality. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: 1) You can press and toast a square sandwich up to 1.5 inch thick including the thickness of bread, cheese and meat or add-ons. By gently pressing and locking it, the sandwich gets nested in its place and would be nicely toasted after a couple of minutes, 2) the cleaning is easy if no food spills out, 3) the build and workmanship is OK matching its price range: the design looks neither rugged nor cheap. Cons: 1) If the sandwich is too thick, the fillings can spill out making a mess, 2) hard to clean the nooks and crannies if food is spilled out, 3) there is no on/off switch which is a major safety hazard since unplugging the ac plug can result in arcing at the outlet. Overall, if the sandwich is under 1.5 inch thick, this toaster could work satisfactorily. I am an electrical engineer and strongly recommend connecting it through a power strip with on/off switch and overcurrent protection.

This product is being sold with misleading information. The product height is 2.5 inch (6.35 cm), but the manufacturer has stated 8.5 cm. The plate height is only 0.5 inch (1.27 cm), which makes it totally unsuitable for making pocket sandwiches with filling. I bought the sandwich maker as a replacement for my Koblenz sandwich maker that I had purchased from Amazon four years back. My Koblenz sandwich maker's thermostat packed up and I couldn't fix it, therefore I had to buy another sandwich maker. I've now ordered a Hamilton Beach sandwich maker from Amazon that has a floating lid and a height of 10.41 cm. I'm hoping that it will be good.
