A hidden gem
It covers the theory well in few pages. And there are almost 150-200 questions in every excercise!! A great combination of easy and advanced questions. If you're looking to become a calculus monster, you must get it. Print quality is good, papers are a bit thin, good binding. Great Soviet era book from 1974, high quality for a cheap price. So yeah, I hope it helps

Lovely and lucid
Piskunov is the one stop shop for understanding single variable calculus. This book along with the volume 2 is one of the most comprehensive treatment of the subject. As usual the legendary methods of the Soviets is unmatchable.

Explains the fundamental concepts clearly without sacrificing even the least bit of rigor, probably one of the best Intro to Univariate Calculus texts out there. However, the exercises is where this book fails to shine, and fails to live up to the expectations I have from Russian texts.Supplementing the text with a problem book of your choice is advisable

Still the greatest book in differential and integral calculas
This book is the one we followed in engineering. Still the best book. Mir Publishing used to give this to us for Rs.10 (2 volumes) in 1976.

Un réédition indienne médiocre .
Le livre par lui même est excellent . le calcul intégral y est bien détaillé avec de nombreux exemples; Par contre la réalisation matérielle de cette édition est plutôt médiocre.Il existe une réédition en français chez Ellipse que l'on peut trouver chez Amazon .
