Two Can Keep a Secret: TikTok made me buy it : Karen M McManus: desertcart.in: Books Review: Jesus - Blimey... this book is beyond excellent! It was fast-paced unlike One Of Us Is Next but just as brilliant if not better. This book makes you rack your brains. You'll keep trying to guess who the murderer is but you'll never be able to guess correctly. It was so unexpected!! This book makes you change your mind at the end of every page and when you finally reach the part of the Great Revelation, you'll be horrorsruck. The last line gave me the chills and I'm glad I didn't finish it late at night. (shudder) The characters were awesome and it was really hard to guess the culprit. I wish there had been more to Ryan though. His connection with Lacey remained a plothole. This is one of the best books I've ever read and I'm really looking forward to The Cousins. Awaiting some more thrills from Karen! Review: Good - This book was really good. The author is really good at writing YA thrillers where the teenage characters are actually good and don't annoy you in the least. This story had a lot of siblings and was so much fun to read. We have two POVs: Ellery and Malcolm. Ellery's aunt went missing in Echo Ridge and Malcolm's brother was suspected of murdering his girlfriend who was in the same year as Ellery's aunt. There's no crappy teenage drama in this. It is really well written. If you liked the author's first book 'One of us is lying', then you'll like this one two. P.S.: Blue spray painted edges!

Totally worth it..
It's an amazing book. The storyline is intriguing. Once you start reading this book you will not be able to stop. I highly recommend it. If you haven't already read "One of us is lying" read it now... Keren M McManus writes great books.

Fast paced, action packed, delightful!!!!
In the beginning, it was a slow start with LOTS of names to remeber but once you get past that, it was a pretty fast read. Her debut, One of Us is Lying, had multiple 4 POV's but Two can Keep a Secret only has 2. All in all, it was a fast paced mystery that I finished in 2 days.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫/ 4.5 👥 Two can keep a secret is a mystery book where homecoming queens disappeared in the past and the person who did this seems to be back. 👥 I just love the writing style of McManus! She writes in a way that makes the characters seem real and relatable! I loved Ellery and Ezra! Twins is not something you see much in books and I loved their relationship! Malcolm was also a really interesting character and I really enjoyed his chapters. The relationships in this book were also realistically portrayed! The chapters where really well written. The plot was really intriguing and it sucked me right in! I loved the horror/Halloween theme throughout the book as well! I also really didn’t see the plot twist coming and that just makes the book and story more exciting to me! The book ended but did leave me with one question. It was answered partially with the very last sentence of the book but not completely (that last sentence though was honestly the most chilling ending to a book I’ve ever read!!). It annoys me a bit that I’ll never get the answer and is the reason I didn’t give the book 5 stars🙈 👥 Overall it was a really well written, fast-paced mystery book that reveals its clues in a well-plotted way!
