Top quality as expected from Kryptonite. Good secondary lock cable for my electric bike as needed. Could not recommend as a primary lock for anything too valuable, cable cutter vulnerable.

Perfect length and flexibility for locking up a couple bikes when coupled with a U-lock. For best security, use a u lock around both bikes or around the frame and wheel of a single bike then use the cable to attach to a fixed structure.

This cable at 7 foot can lock up wheels , seat and frame quick when going in the local store or using a bathroom at a park only feet from your bike for just a few minutes. It is very light and easy to carry on these rides . No this is not security for a bike left unattended in a repeat location for any period of time . I do like it for times I must quickly have something available to lock the bike up in safe locations where I am nearby that are not part of my normal routine . Like using the bathroom in a bike park for less then ten minutes where you could hear someone . Using a motion alarm is a huge plus with it . Any more then that and you must break out the u lock too or bike chains rated at gold level . I now prefer them over the U locks because my new fat bikes have 5 inch tires on them the U bolt cannot go around one as their only 4 inches wide . Expect to pay $100 for a chain and still need a cable or 2 for accessories plus they are heavy , close to 15 pounds but if your leaving a bike in your garage or a rack at the apartment building unattended for long periods of time it is the best way to be sure it is as safe as possible . This is a very light cable that is suppose to be stronger than most due to being intertwined . A large set of bolt cutters could snap it . There are ways you can learn to wrap it so it is harder to get a set of cutters on it . I like it very much but only to keep honest people honest or where you can be back out and on the bike before a thief could react and get a set of cutters to take it . If I were to purchase again I would look for one about 5/8 of a inch which I noticed was on my other bike from another company with the same construction but this is so light I am ok with it for what I want to use it for .

This is a really nice, well-made cable. I carry/use it with the U-lock on my bicycle. It's long enough to make it possible to secure all the stuff worth stealing on the bike, and still have enough left over to lock it to some sub-optimal things and places. It's heavy, the kind of heavy that comes with decent security. I wouldn't want something thin and wimpy that only keeps the honest people honest. Because it's kinda thick and heavy, not the floppy pre-coiled thing, this one needs a lilbit of 'training', but it easily wraps around my seatpost tight enough to suit me. I'm happy with this thing, it's a solid security product at a good price. As always, my usual top rating's four stars. I reserve the fifth star for those things that make me effusively, annoyingly happy.

DO NOT USE AS YOUR PRIMARY MEANS OF LOCKING YOUR BIKE! Now that we got that disclaimer out of the way, onto the review. I use this to secure my front wheel, rear wheel, and bike seat to my bike U-lock (Abus Mini140). I use the same setup on my wife's bike This should be the only use for any nylon coated wire rope for securing your bike regardless of brand. PROS: +Good length to offer flexibility and allows me to easily secure the front wheel, rear wheel, and bike seat to my U-lock. We also use it to loop to our Burley trailer if we feel it is needed. +I felt the price was fair for the length and gauge. CONS: -None really, just know it's intended purpose. Also, take note that time and time again it has been proven that no flexible wire rope has proven to be better then any other. They are all easily defeated quickly with wire/bolt cutters. Look for the right length you need and a good price.

The long length is great. Can do 2 bikes around a medium sized tree.

I am using this to lock the doors together and prevent theft of my Motorhome. It is clean, well made and tidy and even comes with a Velcro tie to roll it up when not in use. Does the job I want it to do and I would definitely recommend it.

Ottima come catena aggiuntiva, da affiancare ad un lucchetto rigido di buona qualità, per scoraggiare il furto delle ruote della bicicletta. Ben fatta e molto lunga. AGGIORNAMENTO DOPO QUASI 3 ANNI DALL'ACQUISTO Il cavo sui è rivelato estremamente resistente e nonostante io lo abbia utilizzato parecchio, e senza averne troppa cura, è ancora perfetto. Io lo uso sia per quando lascio la bici in luoghi particolarmente a rischio per il furto delle ruote sia per legare i caschi integrali alla moto. Per la verità, in situazioni particolari sono addirittura riuscito a far passare il cavo dentro 2 caschi integrali, due giacche della moto(all'interno della manica) chiudere il cappio e far arrivare il cavo al lucchetto con il quale blocco la corona. Davvero niente male!!

Das ist schon das zweite Kabel. Nutze ich zum anschließen von Fahrrädern damit auch dieLauf-Räder selbst gesichert sind. Muss natürlich mit vernünftigen Vorhängeschloss kombiniert werden.
