I work in some locations where it is very difficult to get a good hot cup of coffee during the day. I read the reviews on this unit and thought I'd give it a whirl. It works GREAT! I put about 7-8 hot cups of coffee into this baby around 8 AM, and at 4 PM I am still pouring hot coffee out of it. Ver pleased with the purchase! Very durable & well made - highly recommend!

Nice product. Poured 4 quarts of strong coffee through it so far and kept coffee nice and hot/warm. I usually make percolated coffee the night before going to work and the next day it is as hot as the time I poured it in it.

My wife wanted to bring a butane stove on our ski trip and make hot chocolate in the back of the car. I told her she was nuts and we could just use a thermos. To prove my point, I found a nice, sturdy looking metal thermos in the basement and I filled it up with hot water and left it over night in the kitchen. The next morning it was lukewarm. Ack!! I immediately jumped on Amazon and ordered this one. I pre-warmed it with some hot water and then filled it with boiling hot chocolate. I stuck it outside on the deck for 9 hours overnight. No sun. No protection from the wind. It went down to 11 degrees last night. This morning it was still steaming hot. It wasn't boiling, but hot enough I had to blow on it to take a sip. It should be more than adequate to leave in the car for a few hours while we are skiing. Unfortunately, my wife likes it so much that now she wants to put this big thing in a backpack and I am going to wind up carrying it all over the mountain. Hahaha. =/

Por fin pude tener mi stanley classic y hoy en cuanto lo recibí, quise ponerlo a prueba, le puse agua tibia a 66.4° a eso de las 3:15pm, tomé registro cada 2 horas y después de casi 6 hrs y media, a las 9:40pm el agua marcaba 62.2°, para mi objetivo que es cebar mates, considero que es más que suficiente esa capacidad de mantenimiento de la temperatura, lo recomiendo ampliamente; además, como punto extra a su favor, este diseño en color negro mate lo hace ver maravilloso.

Holds an insane amount of liquid and holds temperature really well. I can pack hot tea in the winter at work and it will still be hot after lunch and even end of the day. I can use the lid as a cup of needed and it helps cool down the drink enough from its heated state to drink it. I've dropped it, forgotten it and had it fall off the truck while working and it's held up with only a handful of scratches. The only downside is it doesn't fit in any sort of cup holder but since it's sturdy and seals fully I can just throw it on seats or behind me on the cart and it's fine.
