How can you not have Bluetooth in a car in this day and age? Well, this solves that! My Audi A4 Avant 2011 B8 has the Audi Concert - MMI 2G low I believe and when I picked up the car, I was a little surprised that it doesn't have Bluetooth to play music too. This device is plug-and-play and works perfectly. Easy to pair, offers great audio I feel and you can't go wrong. The only thing is that it is a little pricey, however without the need to power it via USB I feel this works a treat. Highly recommend. All steering controls and buttons work as they should. Its like the car essentially comes with Bluetooth now. Sits in the glovebox and is never seen, fit once and be done.

I have a 2010 Mercedes convertible. I bought last year and just always accepted it was an old car and would never have the modern capabilities of my main car with Android Auto etc. I never saw the point of a Bluetooth adaptor, as they would just key in to the aux port, and give basic audio pass through. I wanted at least skip track capabilities from my driver seat. For the past year I've been using aux cables with in line remote, with a usb to 3.5mm adaptor, they did the job but often had problems breaking easily or issues with static noises. I was at the point where I was considering replacing the stock head unit for something more modern I was just browsing amazon by chance last week and came across this product, it seemed too good to be true! Plugging into the ipod connection, giving steering wheel controls, a display read out of song on the head unit. While giving all the benefits of Bluetooth not having to fiddle plugging in every time you get in the car. I thought I'd give it a try not expecting much. To my surprise it works perfectly and has completely erased any need for me to buy a new head unit! As people mention, yes it's pricey, but after a year of looking at solutions I haven't seen anything similar that actually replicates modern functionality within the old head unit. To get anything near was a new head unit at £600. So to me it's actually cheap! Thanks for guys for this amazing product!

...and, if I'm honest, having read some of these reviews, I didn't expect it to. I have a 2011 Audi A8, so its the D4 model. I'm using an iPhone 12 running iOS 14. After pairing to the car it connects every time the car is electrically powered and appears in the source list as iPhone. Apple music is the only menu system that loads but that is a huge improvement on the previous situation. It took a while for the menus and play lists to populate. In fact I'd taken out the car handbook to see if I was missing something and when I looked up again a few minutes later it was all there. It's controllable from the steering wheel and the songs appear between the dials if selected. The mute button on the wheel actually pauses the song or story. It will play Audible too but only if initiated from the iPhone. After that limited control, such as pause, is available from the car. The only slight glitch is, if you want to listen to music after hearing a book, the only way I've found to allow control from the car systems is to turn bluetooth off and then back on. It will still play without doing this if initiated and then controlled from the phone though. The sound quality is superb too. I only have the Bose system, not the B&O but it is crystal clear with a rich bass. I was going to get a system fitted (for lots more money) that would hijack the MMI and put Apple CarPlay on it instead but this level of functionality is enough for me. Maybe a future update could handle the phone too? I highly recommend this bluetooth dongle.

Very easy to install and is very fast to connect to my phone but it does have some quirks. 1. I use VLC media app with MP3's loaded on my phone and if I select a playlist, the Mercedes media controls can be used to select next and previous tracks. Although, for some reason this functionality is limited to only a few tracks either side of the track that is playing. The artist and title are displayed on the cars display but not all tagging versions are compatible. 2. Any bluetooth audio playing on your phone will overide disk and radio functions on your media system. Not a big problem but it does mean that you can't switch between audio streaming and other audio sources without touching your phones controls. The good news is that the audio quality is very good and I have hands free calls. Overall, if I needed to get bluetooth connectivity, I'd buy the same device again.

Great product

It worked ok for the best part of a year. I couldn’t skip tracks etc but I’m ok with that. But now all of a sudden, if it’s in use, my audio system just turns off entirely and is hard to turn back on. The Audio system is fine the minute this is unplugged so I’ve no idea what’s happened but for £90 I was hoping to have something that lasted longer than 14 months 🙃

Awesome !!! don't waste your money on cheap bluetooth knockoffs from dubious countries ;) Does more than you think and worth the price! Will definitely do, till the whole airplay upgrade that these cars are more than 'plug and play' capable to do and can upgrade to :)

Works perfectly with an Audi 2014 A4 black edition with a Concert B&O system. iPhone 16Pro used to drop off using wired connection after 15 mins (due to phone not car, it worked fine with iPhone 11Pro), but this just keeps going. Also able to use the in-car controls to change the track which is great. I was sceptical, it's not 'cheap' like the cables, but this does genuinely work. The instructions are translated into English so there's a little imperfection - just make sure you note the point about there being a 5 second grace period when connecting. I nearly sent it back thinking it didn't work, it's NOT the widget, it's just how the car handshakes with devices. Basically read the instructions.

Il prezzo non è bassissimo ma devo dire che il risultato è veramente buono. Si connette semplicemente e consente di associare qualsiasi sorgente audio esterna. Funzionano benissimo i comandi dell'auto sia per volume che per ricerca avanti e indietro. L'audio e veramente ottimo. Lo tengo sempre collegato dentro al vano porta oggetti e dopo qualche mese di utilizzo posso dire che funziona benissimo e si è sempre connesso all'avvio dell'auto senza problemi.

Doesn’t connect to car. INVERY costumer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Not helpful at all, ignores emails & accusing you of not sending them. Been asking for a refund since June. Amazons service was perfect and helped us out. Would never order from INVERY AGAIN

Funktioniert tadellos. Es ist tatsächlich als ob ein iPod am Kabel hängt. Es ist nicht zu spüren das es über Funk arbeitet. Der Adapter schaltet sich bei Zündung sofort zu und Aktiv auf der Headunit. Der Klang ist auch sehr gut, keine Aussetzer im Funk. Ich habe gleichzeitig die Headunit als Telefon verbunden. (Mit dem eingebauten Bluetooth vom ntg4 hab ich immer das Problem, das die Verbindung stockt.) Ich nutze ein iPhone 15 Pro mit iOS 17 damit.

I absolutely loved this product. I own a 2014 Audi A4 Quattro and when I first received it I was skeptical because it didn’t work off the jump, but once you go to your MMI menu and connect your phone it works Seamlessly with absolutely no issues. The sounds quality is perfect, no cutting in and out and every time I start the car it just auto connects. The description says it won’t show your tracks for Spotify but it does. I’ve tried it with SoundCloud, Spotify and Apple Music and it displays all of the information. There’s probably a half a second lag between pressing the song and it registering on the car but it’s really not an issue since it Doesn’t lag while playing the music. It is 100% worth the money if you don’t want to listen to a CD or the radio. I love this product and I would recommend it to anyone who requires the MMI adapter!! The only thing I could say is that if you’re not willing to spend the 100 bucks on this adapter you may be able to find it a little cheaper somewhere else but honestly it’s better safe than sorry. Exceeded my expectations! 9.5/10
