Transformers Prime Weaponizers Bumblebee

This was a great toy. I personally found it difficult to transform but my 5 year old boy figured it out by himself with no directions. I was impressed and proud of my boy of course but the toy is a good fit for him and has some cool lights and gun movements. He takes it everywhere and it is one of his favorite toys for sure.

My four year old son loves this toy. Transforming it between shapes is a good puzzle challenge and it is really amazing when it is complete. It is well designed. It has big guns that pop up and spin which is a strong motivator for young boys, like it or not. On the bright side it is also a nice car and a helpful looking yellow robot.

This is a great toy for kids whom love Transformers/BumbleBee. However I have to admit, trying to get this toy to transform was a task for us adults. We bought this gift for our 6 year old son, and finally he's able to transform it himself. Thankful he's able to do it alone, he's mastered it.

Looks cool - big and impressive but pain in the butt to transform for my almost 5 year old - plus feels kinda flimsy - but all in all - not bad - he loves it still - shooting noise is cool - would likely still get it again but perhaps the $50.00 price is too much - track it down in the stores for cheaper people. I had to do it because it was so close to Christmas and he believed with all his heart that Santa was bringing him a "robot" - could not find this in the stores or another decent good sized robot figure so I jumped at this one on here for that price. If you have time - shop around - Marshalls I heard had this at one point but I missed it.

However, the toy is not very practical for a child when transformed into the figure. As a car, it works just fine, and that's how we mostly keep the toy now. As the figure, it is very top heavy, the 'joints' of the toy are loose, so bumblebee topples over easily. Also, torso comes together in two sections, a back half and a front half. The back half is the hood of the car, and there is no real mechanism to keep the two together. Any real playing with him, and the two parts break apart. Pros: cool transforming action (but pretty intricate maneuvers to execute) Car is nice to use Decent sized figurine Cons: top heavy Hard to play with in bumblebee format

My 5 year-old nephew is very into the Transformers just now and this was probably the perfect gift for him... except for the fact that it is an absolute nightmare to convert to the Camaro and back again. I'm talking pages and pages of directions and parts you have to remove and add back. Ugh! If we'd known, we probably would've gotten him something simpler, but unfortunately, we didn't figure that bit out until he had it out of the box and wanted to transform it right away! I could feel the daggers his dad's eyes had aimed at me from across the room as he got to number 16 on a very long list of directions. Anyway, the process was challenging for an adult and would probably be so for even an older child; however, if you know someone who loves Bumblebee, this was a great action figure. It's a good size and has some moveable features. The solution might be to convince them they don't want to transform it???

Well where to start, I ordered this gift last minute and received it in 3 days. AWESOME! I asked the wife to order another for the my son will need one also to play with... :-) Not even out of the package and Bumblebee has had several battles B4 Santa delivers it. TY Amazon. --- Don

I bought this for a friends son, who was turning 4, and he loves it. Although it did take a few times getting the steps down with the instructions, it wasn't overly complicated. Most of the adults were very entertained by this, almost as much as the kids were. The details on this are amazing, it's an fun toy for kids and adults of all ages. I wouldn't recommend this for a kid to manipulate and transform alone, but once an adult gets the steps it's quick enough to do for the kids.
