Nice product and it definitely did the job. While the block material is a little brittle and can start falling apart after a week of use it is still usable. Cheaper than hardware stores.

Bought this kit based off of a YouTube recommendation. My dad came over to help me put my LVP in and he was really amazed. He did their house without one of these kits and it was much harder and less accurate. This kit saved a lot of time and head ache and we had barely any broken planks with it.

The kit consists of the wedges, tapping block and pull bar. Wedges - I found the wedges effective to use when you can stack the wedges. The ridges on the wedges were very effective at holding the stacked thickness. For narrow gaps the wedges would sometimes bottom out on the subfloor before they would fill the gap. I was forced to lay the wedges on edge which would allow crushing of the flooring at the contact point when I was tapping (sometimes pounding) to joint planks. Tapping Block - This held up fairly well to the tapping. But it did get damaged by the hammer when pounding to jount planks. Pull Bar - The pull bar was a little thicker than I expected. It has held up very well to pounding with a little deflection of the tab. Overall the kit is a good value. I prefer stacked spacers (Pergo) over the wedges. A would recommend supplementing this kit with a rubber tapping block as well.

Made installing my flooring so much easier

We had right around 1000 sq ft of laminate wood flooring to install and had never installed it before. So my husband watched a youtube video using a similar set, ordered this, and things couldn't have gone any better. He originally thought he would only be using the pull bar, but he wound up using everything in the set. He completed 3 bedrooms, 4 closets, 2 hallways and a great room (living/dining) using this set and all the pieces held up perfectly and everything is in good condition to be able to use again should we ever need to do more flooring (which my husband says he hopes to never have to do again, even though it all went well. was just very tedious and boring I guess). The flooring we installed was trafficmaster and we would definitely recommend this set to anyone installing a similar floor. The results look very professional in our opinion. Worked great and the price is great too!

Very easy to use. This is my 2nd installation kit. With the 1st one, the pull bar and block were worn out and the pull bar was scratching the plank after installation on the 3rd room. Bought the 2nd kit for installation in the 4th room.

I didn't really need this tool, I bought it thinking that I needed it, but in reality I would have been better off buying one of those crow footed L-foot small crowbars, then I could have used the tool afterwords for other products. The tool is so thin that when you hit it with a rubber mallet it does not stay stable and flies off. Also the metal s shaped tool they give you only mars the edges of your vinyl. I used the product throughout construction, but now I just have a box with these tools in and no reason to use them. The spacers also were a joke, they did not stay in place while installing, and were usless. I tried them once or twice and just gave up on them. The install went fine without them and I realized this was just an impulse buy because I had never done a floating vinyl floor before. Live and learn.

I haven't actually used this product. It's still in the box, but It is exactly like one I have used installing vinyl plank flooring with Habitat for Humanity. I can say without qualification that these make the job easier, and it is easier to do an accurate job with the pull-bar. I moved to another location where the Habitat chapter doesn't have one of these, and I worked for a couple of days installing bamboo laminate flooring, and it was a PAIN, trying to pry things and make makeshift tools to get the last sections near the wall. That's why I ordered this. Unfortunately Covid-19 came along and construction has been on hold, but I hope I can get back to work soom and impress my buddies with this tool.

Work well for the Do it yourselfer. Already had the hammer so this is all I needed to lay flooring

Does the job but not as durable as I expected, block already has deformation similar to what happens with the kit with the wooden block.

I was surprised with the quality of this. I purchased it as it was cheap and I just had a small job to do. I was thinking it would be good for this little job and be done with it but it is actually great quality.
