If you didn't like the book, that's fine. Don't read them. But don't deny the people who love this series their need and want for a fourth book. With that out of the way...I don't even know how to put into words how great this book was. This book was beyond amazing. It was super fantabulous! Ms. Fitzpatrick's epic conclusion to the Hush, Hush series is one that should not be missed. The reader is immediately sucked right back into the Hush, Hush world, and right back into Nora and Patch's romance. Every twist and turn of this novel left me wanting more, and I literally could not put this book down. I finished it all in one sitting because it is truly that good. The imagery is beautiful, and the Nephilim/Fallen Angel world that Ms. Fitzpatick has created is so unbelievably interesting. This is the spoiler part of the review, so if you haven't read the book yet, completely skip this. There are so many twists in this book perhaps the biggest that Vee has been a Nephilim the entire time! I loved this because once Nora found out, she didn't have to keep anything from Vee anymore. Additionally, Dante's betrayal was something I didn't see coming. I was going back and forth with Dante, so I guess I was kind of right, but I had no clue of the length of his betrayal. Finally, I knew from the beginning of this series that something was fishy with Detective Basso, and boy was I right! His "gift" to Nora at the end was also the sweetest thing I have ever read. Now onto the characters....Nora, has been my girl since day one. Even though she was annoying at times, I still loved her. She always faced the tough situations that she was thrown into, and despite her jealousy toward Dabria (which was the thing that annoyed me the most about Nora even though you can't really blame her), she was a kick-butt heroine throughout this entire book...especially now that she's Nephilim. Patch was just beyond amazing. Every singe scene with him put a smile on my face. So, let's just say I was smiling a whole lot while reading this book. His love for Nora is so breathtaking, and wonderful that every girl should have a Patch in her life. There is no denying that he loves Nora with his whole heart, and isn't that what every girl wants. Patch had so many good lines, I was laughing so hard. Vee was awesome! I loved her even more in this book. However, she wasn't in this one as much as the previous ones, but that was to be expected because Nora had to keep so much from her. Finally, Scott. Even though when Scott was first introduced, I didn't like him, I slowly grew to love him (not as much as Patch, but he still has a place in my beloved fictional boys). And all I have to say is WHY?!?! I almost cried when Scott died. He died nobly, and it was a fitting death for him, but still WHY?! Ms. Fitzpatrick's writing was beautiful and flowed so nicely. I can't wait to read more from her because judging by this series, she will not disappoint. I'm sad that this was the final book in the series, but the ending was perfect. This is a series that I will be reading again and again, and will always hold a special place in my heart. 5+++++++ feathers Review: Gripping Finale for a Tumultuous Series - Only true love could survive everything Nora and Patch have been through, but they are still standing on the edge of a cliff looking into the face of a war Nora is supposed to lead against the fallen angels like Patch. In Finale, Becca Fitzpatrick concludes the fallen angel story, not with a whimper, but with a bang. Nora has inherited the Black Hand's army when she killed the Black Hand himself, who also happened to be her father. Becoming the leader of the army, however, means she is now responsible for continuing their cause: stopping the fallen angels from possessing the bodies of the Nephilim during the holy month of Cheshvan. The angels have always taken advantage of this time to use the Nephilim's bodies, which is the only time they can feel human emotions, but their forceful possession and reckless use of the bodies is a time that is feared by all Nephilim. Now the Nephilim want to end Cheshvan, but they need someone to lead them. Nora is torn between being a newly created Nephilim and understanding the terror involved with the angel's possession, but she also loves her boyfriend Patch, who is a fallen angel. If she doesn't lead the army, she will break her oath and be killed. But how can she, not even as strong as the natural born Nephilim, stop the angels? And it doesn't help that she doesn't even know who to trust as the Nephilim and angels around her are all working for their own personal desires. They have even created a synthetic devilcraft, which is a substance that can enhance a Nephilim's abilities, but different prototypes also have severe consequences and side-effects. Nora learns about them first hand and her addiction to the substance may keep her from finding a peaceful way out of this war. But if there is one thing Nora won't do, it is sacrifice her love for Patch. I have had an up and down relationship with this series, but I have to say, I am so glad I hung in there. It turned out to be a really big upswing and left me very happy I didn't give up on it. Each book got better and better and the conclusion of the series was exciting and interesting. At times I was annoyed with either Patch or Nora for different reasons (in this one I was annoyed with her stupid addiction to the devilcraft- c'mon!), but something kept me going to the conclusion, which was really well crafted. My favorite part of this series were the supporting characters like Vee and Scott, but also mean Marcie and others. I think this is a common finding in all stories these days where the main characters can frustrated you, but the supporting characters are more dynamic, funnier, and easier to root for than the main characters. Maybe there isn't as much at stake for a supporting character, but I hope authors in the future consider making their main characters as endearing as their supporting characters. Either way, though, the story was definitely the best in the series and made me feel good about the end!

Gripping Finale for a Tumultuous Series

o livro chegou em uma boa situação, ficou um pouco amassado na parte inferior direita da capa mas nada que me incomode, acho que o acabamento do livro poderia ser melhor considerando o preço dele né

This is the last instalment of the Hush Hush series and one word to summarize it all-FANTASTIC!!! The story picks up right after the third book. Nora has become a purebreed Nephil and it's only days before Cheshvan starts. Tension is running high between the fallen angels and the nephilim. As the new leader of the nephilim army, Nora has to step in and put an end to this war which has been fought for centuries between the two races before she can join her love Patch. I downloaded it onto my kindle straight after it was out and I just could not put it down in the last few days. I even installed the kindle app onto my phone so I could keep reading when out and about. Both the epilogue and prologue are nicely done. And in the last few chapters, there was so much surprises and I got really hooked!!! It's an incredible read and a fantastic end to the series. It's full of twists and turns and packed with lots of action, just like a rollercoaster ride. Becca did a good job in developing the plot and kept me guessing- "who's the real traitor"? After reading book 3, I knew that was not the last we would see of "devilcraft" and in this book, it takes the central role in the storyline. We are also introduced to the political organization of the nephilim race which is in the form of a council. And reading Nora doing her nephilm special training session with her right-hand man Dante is fun. In previous books we've seen both nephilim and fallen angels using the mind trick skills but during Nora's training session, we get to find out how they actually train themselves for this skill. And the same also applies for possession. In previous books, we had a fair amount of players from both Nephil and fallen angel side and in this final book, Becca throws in the missing piece of the equation-the archangels, which is a good move for the storyline. As for the characters, we have two main new comers Pepper and Dante and both are so believable and add a lot to the already complex situation in the story. It's also good to see characters from previous books such as Dabria and even Rixon to add more spice to the story. The only thing I don't quite like is how Becca handles Scott. In previous books, he was kind of Nora's side-kick when Patch was not available. In this book, however, he is overshadowed by Dante. A similar situation happens to Vee. I feel as if she becomes distant to Nora and is replaced by the annoying Marcie. Becca barely redeem herself towards the end with the surprise from Vee. I kind of understand why Becca has to give this version of "happy ever after" for Vee but what's the point of pairing her up with Scott? As for Patch and Nora, well their relationship has certainly moved up a level. They are being tested but unlike the second book, they have a bigger trust on each other. And oh, their oath to each other towards the end of the book is so beautiful!! Overal, Becca has done a good job in concluding this series, though the title of the book is so predictable. This is my first series on fallen angels(I am normally a vampire person) and I can't believe it's over. I am going to have a difficult time saying goodbye to the lovely characters and perhaps find another series as good as this one on fallen angels. I know this is going to sound cheesy but putting this wonderful and captivating story onto the big screen is not a bad idea!! Thanks again Becca!!

Dommage que ce soit le dernier épisode de la saga, je m'étais attachée aux personnages. Volume digne des autres, tout en rebondissement.
