Over 30 years ago I purchased a DW 5300. The original strap and bezel have long since perished but the mechanism still works fine. So I already tried two replacement resin straps but they lasted less than a year before splitting across a buckle hole. Thought I would give this nylon strap a try. The strap material is pretty strong so I expect it to last longer than me! There are a dozen buckle holes and I am on hole no. 9. I suspect that I have average thickness wrists for an adult male so I suspect the strap may not be suitable for small children without making new holes. The strap adapters were easy to fit - the end of surplus strap can be neatly tucked into a strap adapter instead of flapping around. The nylon strap doesn't feel as comfortable as the resin straps, but I suspect I will get used to it in time. At almost £20 I think it is a little pricey, but if it lasts it will be worth the price. I've already wasted as much on resin straps.

Seems to be decent materials and build quality. It's very comfortable. My only real complaint is that the pins and those of the original band are of a slightly different diameter and are therefore not interchangeable.

Liked - the adapter colour and finish are a good match for the Casio watch, and the strap hardware is suitably OTT for a chunky G-Shock Disliked - despite being listed as compatible the adapters had to be trimmed to fit my GD-350. It was pretty simple to do tbf but I wasted a good half hour trying to fit them without trimming and it just was never going to have it Also the adapters are for a 24mm strap but disappointingly only a 22mm was supplied, and the "flying" bit of the strap is also a bit too short for the extended lug-to-lug caused by the adapters. This means it's under a little tension and won't quite conform to the wrist which makes the watch sit up too high. I got round this by wearing it single-pass. I could just cut the superfluous bit off but then I wouldn't be able to use the strap double-pass on another watch if desired. Summary - A few niggles which can be overcome (but shouldn't have to be!) and now it's looking good and wearing well.

Seen a few reviews about not being durable , I'm a plant mechanic and use this every day , never had a problem , quite good for the money and adapted to my watch perfectly , yes you can spend more and get a "better" strap but this has stood the test of time for me in a harsh environment 👍

Again, something from Amazon with good reviews that's actually just junk. Ordered a Richie Strap and this is not at all. Absolute fabrication. No connectors as described, let alone some that could fit a g-shock. All I got was a cheap lame strap, and a rubbish little screw driver for £20. Joke. Don't waste you time buying stuff for landfill. Returned instantly

Very well made, great strap!

The strap is good quality with solid metal buckle and hoops. The adapters match the finish of my DW5600 but we're a little fiddly to install, I used the original spring bars (they are a little tight to fit but a drop of oil helps) as the ones supplied are visibly weaker. Like most straps it comes with a cheaply made spring bar tool but it does the job. Overall I would recommend this, as for longevity I cannot say as I am writing this review on the day of delivery.

Bought for my g shock as in the photo. Had to take off the curved end prices that sit between the strap and the watch. It looks ok, not great. The strap is 22 mm but the adapters are for 24 mm straps. This makes the watch head loose and a bit odd looking. A 24mm single pass NATO would be a better idea. Not quite in the same quality league as the Jays and Kay's item that it copies but for the price including the strap, not too bad.
