Yes. As long as it has separate resivors for the color and black it will work beautifully. You will be pleased it lasts a long time

I have brother mfc-j475dw it works?

I couldn't say whether it would work on "Brother".. I can say that it won't / didn't work on (Newer) Epson Stylus NX420.. The machine, after "resetting the chip", recognized right away that the black was non OEM and it wouldn't recognise the color cartridges at all ! Sorry I couldn't help but I'll bet that all the Printer co's have wised up and made their chips bullet proof against, We the Captive Market, thereby protecting their product from budget minded consumers !

I used a 1/16" drill bit to make a pilot hole, followed by a 5/64" drill bit. Just large enough for the syringe to enter. If a standard drill seems too intimidating, you could try an inexpensive "Dremel" type drill, which will also work well.

I have a Canon Pixma MG5320. It uses 4 dye inks (c,m,y, and black) and a black pigment. How is this kit used for the black pigment cartridge?

Our printer (IP4820) has a cartridge for black pigment ink and one for black dye ink. The viscosity of pigment and dye inks are different. I wouldn't want to put a thinner dye ink in a cartridge designed for thicker pigment ink. We buy a separate bottle of black pigment ink.
