Had never heard of this product, but my doctor suggested trying it when nothing else seemed to be helping. This stuff is great, the only place we could find it was on Amazon. Would buy again.

Good buy
Works to speed up healing on pressure or wetness areas that aren't deep. Just be sure your loved one isn't slathering and caking it on. It works best as a thin layer (easier to clean off without traumatizing the skin too). This was for an incontinent and nearly immobile diabetic granny

great to have on hand for skin issues
It's a big tube and will last a very long time! I wish there were smaller tubes to purchase, as this was expensive. This was recommended to us by our WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse) when my hubby developed a small skin shear/ rip in a delicate area. We initially used generic neosporin, all we had on hand at the time, but she said this was better for both healing and protection. A little dab goes a long way! I used this in conjunction with the DuoDerm CGF Extra Thin Spots, to help heal the skin rip. I used a toothpick to gently rub this into the split, then covered with the DuoDerm Spot. I'd recommend, if you're just using this cream, then spread all around. I wanted to keep it directly in the split/wound, then needed to cover the split for protection and healing (since it was likely that it would split open again as hubby used his transfer board [paraplegic/SCI]). I will keep using a dab even after his rip has healed. I think it will be very helpful for other small issues, like scrapes, splits, scratches.

Good antibiotic.
Purchased for my husband. It seems to be working on his wound. Need more time. Cheaper than what insurance cost was.

Skin barrier Cream
I use this on my bum. I have Short Bowel Syndrome and utilize the restroom 10x a day, this cream protects my bum from burning so I recommend it.
